𝗗𝗿 𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗷𝗷𝗮𝗿 developed a 𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗱, 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿 for detecting toxic cyanide ions in water. The sensor enables 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 through a distinct colour change, offering a 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for environmental monitoring and water safety.
