We are delighted to share that three students from Riverside School have received an Honourable Mention at the Cambridge Rethink Essay Competition in their very first attempt.

With over 15,000 submissions from students across 50+ countries, only the top 10% were selected for Honourable Mentions.

Our heartfelt congratulations to:

Sanaya Singh — Grade 9, Senior Category
Kian Sarkar — Grade 7, Junior Category

They have also been invited to the University of Cambridge for the award ceremony and dinner.

​We are thrilled to host an exclusive Bilateral Meeting focusing on a topic close to our hearts: Children, Childhood, and Cities.

​When we design cities that work for children, we build cities that work for everyone. From safer school zones to vibrant, playable public spaces, we’ll be discussing how to put children at the center of the urban planning conversation.

We are happy to share that Kiran Sethi’s journey with Riverside School and Design for Change has been featured in Pencils And Purpose: How Twelve Visionaries Sketched a New Blueprint for Education.

What began with just 27 children at Riverside grew from a simple yet powerful belief — that education should not only inform but empower children to become changemakers.

The book brings together inspiring stories of educators and institution builders who are reimagining learning by placing children, agency, and purpose at the heart of education.

We’re proud to share that Riverside is part of the Beacons of Learning Design (BOLD) Fellowship - a global journey bringing together visionary schools and learning environments reimagining the future of education.

An initiative by the Global Institute for Shaping a Better Future and Transcend, the fellowship is rooted in building more equitable, holistic, and future-ready learning ecosystems.

As this year-long journey begins in Singapore next week, we look forward to learning, collaborating, and shaping what education can become together.
