Joao is the 𝐂𝐨-𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 & 𝐂𝐄𝐎 of 𝐉.𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐀 and brings extensive experience in agribusiness, sustainability, innovation, and strategic partnerships. His leadership and strong network across Brazil’s agriculture sector will play a vital role in advancing WAF’s mission and expanding our global impact.
As one of the world’s largest agricultural economies and a global leader in food production, agribusiness, bioenergy, and sustainable farming, Brazil is central to shaping the future of global agriculture. Under Joao’s leadership, WAF Brazil will work to strengthen collaboration among government, industry, academia, farmers, development partners, and investors to accelerate innovation, sustainability, trade, and farmer prosperity.

A bench of justices PS Narasimha and AS Chandurkar held that a citizen's fundamental right to walk on a demarcated footpath is primary and shall have priority over movement by motorised vehicles.
In a significant verdict, the apex court said it forms part of the right to movement guaranteed under Article 19 (1) (d) and other fundamental rights, including Article 21- Right to life and liberty.
