We are no more than cockroaches in this system, and we, the victims of this corrupt setup, are more aware than anyone living in our village or locality. When the system ignored us and discarded us like useless paper into a dustbin on 3rd October 2020, our merit, degrees, hard work, and ability were sidelined and replaced by those who bribed their way into the selection list. For the government, this scam was always obvious, yet they chose to ignore it. Now, as the entire nation suffers from the menace of paper scams and corruption, hardworking students can no longer ignore this nonsense. Our leaders have become useless, serving only themselves and their close circles. At the same time, the people of this country, especially the middle class, whom these politicians have discarded, are now being told to stop buying gold and travelling. After ruining the lives of hundreds and thousands of students through paper scams and corruption, do these corrupt politicians expect anyone to be able to buy gold and travel internationally? Where is our economy heading? Where are the jobs the government has promised, while the government flexes its muscles in eradicating the drug menace? Likewise, they should eradicate the curse of unemployment in this region.

| CBI will probe number of questions leaked; no additional fees will be charged for re-exam, previous fees will be refunded: NTA Director General Abhishek Singh after NEET-UG paper leak
The Fire & Emergency recruitment process in Jammu & Kashmir was once a beacon of hope for thousands of unemployed young people. Instead, it became a long, exhausting struggle marked by irregularities, questionable selections, and a merit list that raised more doubts than confidence. Aspirants who had prepared with discipline suddenly found themselves confronting a process that seemed to reward influence over integrity. Their protests were quiet but persistent, their disappointment deep and dignified. For many, the scandal was not just an administrative failure—it was a personal betrayal.
NEET, though national in scale, has echoed the same story. It is an exam that millions of students prepare for with relentless dedication, often sacrificing years of their youth. When allegations of leaks, unexplained score patterns, and procedural lapses surfaced, the shock was immediate and widespread. Families who had invested everything in their children’s dreams felt the ground shift beneath them. Students who believed in the fairness of the system were suddenly forced to question whether their hard work had been overshadowed by forces beyond their control. The controversy did not merely shake confidence in an exam; it shook confidence in the very idea of fairness. What binds these two events together is the nature of the wound they inflict. In both cases, young people found themselves fighting not for privilege, but for dignity. They were compelled to demand transparency—something that should have been guaranteed from the beginning. The emotional toll is immeasurable: sleepless nights, anxious families, and the quiet fear of losing precious years to a system that refuses to protect them.
These incidents are not isolated failures. They are warnings. When recruitment processes collapse and entrance exams lose credibility, the damage extends far beyond the affected candidates. It weakens public trust and sends a dangerous message—that effort may not matter, that honesty may not be rewarded, and that the future may not be earned but manipulated.
Yet, despite everything, the resilience of India’s youth remains unbroken. Whether in the streets of Srinagar or across the country, students have shown remarkable courage. They have demanded accountability with clarity and calm. Their struggle is not a rebellion; it is a reminder that a nation cannot progress if its young citizens lose faith in the fairness of its institutions. The Fire & Emergency scam and the NEET crisis together deliver a simple, powerful message. Students are not asking for sympathy. They are not demanding shortcuts. They are asking for something far more fundamental—a fair chance. Until that promise is honoured, the wounds of these crises will continue to echo across the nation.
FIRE SERVICE SCAM.
A few hours ago ACB releases a press note that some social media handles are circulating fake news that ACB has proved paper leakage in fire service scam, which in actual is still in process.
So aspirants are requested kindly dnt be panic it was just a clarification nothing else. ACB is doing a good job, just hold your nerves and watch.
JK ANTICORRUPTION BUREAU ..........Clarification regarding misleading claims on Fire Services Recruitment and alleged paper leak
It has come to notice that certain social media platforms, particularly the handle “J&K Services Selection Board Aspirants,” are circulating claims suggesting that the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has confirmed a paper leak in the Fire Services recruitment examination and that the Government has taken action against only 106 candidates while leaving others untouched.
These claims are misleading and not based on officially established facts.
It is hereby clarified that the ACB has not confirmed any paper leak at this stage. The matter is currently under investigation, and no final conclusions have been drawn by the competent authorities. Any assertion presenting the investigation as a confirmed finding is premature and inaccurate.
Further, the identification of a specific number of candidates is part of an ongoing and evolving investigative process. Actions such as cancellation of candidature or other administrative measures are taken strictly on the basis of prima facie evidence available at a given stage and in accordance with due legal procedures. This should not be misconstrued as the investigation being limited in scope or excluding other potential findings.
The public and aspirants are advised to exercise caution and refrain from relying on unverified or partial information circulating on social media. Official updates and verified communications from competent authorities should be treated as the only authentic source of information.
Issued in public interest.
ACB confirmed Paper Leak; Govt removes Just 106, leaves others untouched.
Fire service recruitment
The judgement handed down by the Central Administrative Tribunal has ripped the mask off the J&K Fire & Emergency Services Department, exposing a recruitment process riddled with corruption and favoritism. What should have been a transparent, merit-based system to select frontline protectors of society was instead converted into a playground for officials who shamelessly manipulated appointments. The very institution entrusted with safeguarding lives and property has betrayed that trust by allowing nepotism and fraud to dictate who wears the uniform. This scandal is not a minor administrative lapse—it is a direct assault on the principles of fairness and justice. Hundreds of deserving candidates were denied their rightful place, while backdoor entries and handpicked names were pushed through under the shadow of influence. The Tribunal’s decision to order scrutiny and accountability is a damning indictment of the department’s failure to uphold integrity. The Fire & Emergency Services Department now stands disgraced, its credibility shattered. Officials who orchestrated or enabled this fraud have not only undermined the careers of honest aspirants but also endangered public safety by filling critical posts with undeserving recruits. Such betrayal cannot be brushed aside with bureaucratic excuses. It demands punishment, reform, and a complete cleansing of the rot that has taken hold. The people of Jammu & Kashmir deserve institutions that serve them with honesty and courage, not ones that sell opportunities to the highest bidder. Until every corrupt official is held accountable and every rightful candidate is restored to justice, this case will remain a symbol of how deep corruption can corrode the foundations of public service.
