Therapy that comes home

Disability Accessibility looks different for all of us.

For some of us, it’s ramps and elevators.
For some, it’s captions and screen readers.
For others, it’s clear communication, sensory understanding, flexible conversations, or accessible public spaces.

Small things that many people don’t even notice are often the exact things that help disabled people participate, communicate, work, travel, and feel included.

This Global Accessibility Awareness Day, here’s a reminder for us to you: Accessibility is not extra, It’s necessary ❤️

This clip from the podcast is a perfect example of why we need better education on neurodivergence.

When people say they want the "perks" of autism, they are treating a complex neurological identity like a career hack. 📈

But let's be real:
❌ You don't get the "focus" without the sensory overload.
❌ You don't get the "brilliance" without the social exhaustion.
❌ You don't get the "success" without the risk of total burnout.

As a former special educator, I’ve seen how this "Superpower" narrative hurts the community. It sets an impossible standard where you are only "valuable" if your autism makes someone else money.

Autism isn't a "touch" of something. It is the whole package. It is meltdowns, sensory sensitivities, and social awkwardness just as much as it is intensity and success.

Let’s stop trying to harvest the "benefits" of neurodivergence and start supporting the humans who live it every single day💜

💬 How do you feel when you hear people call Autism a "Superpower"? Let’s discuss in the comments.

Did Micheal Jackson have Autism? For decades, the world mocked his "quirks." But for those of us navigating a neurodivergent brain, his "eccentricities" look a lot like survival strategies.

From the surgical masks (sensory barriers) to the connection with animals (social safety), MJ’s life was a masterclass in High-Masking.

But traits aren't a diagnosis. Especially when childhood trauma is in the mix. At Carely, we look at this overlap every day, helping Indian adults figure out where their "mask" ends and their true self begins.

If you are struggling to understand yourself, reach out to us and we will take it from there 💚

Motherhood can look different for every family.

For some, it is therapy appointments, advocating in meetings, researching late at night, celebrating small wins that the world may overlook, and loving fiercely through it all. 💛

This Mother’s Day, we wanted to hear directly from autism moms about what this day truly means to them , beyond the flowers and greetings.

To every mother walking this journey, we see your strength, your exhaustion, your hope, and your endless love. You are doing far more than enough. 🌼
