When learning is built around memorisation, mistakes can feel threatening.
But when learning is built around understanding, mistakes become opportunities to refine thinking, test ideas, and grow.

Prathamotsav marks the beginning of a new academic year at Tapas. More than an orientation, it is a space where families come together to understand the vision, learning journey, and opportunities that await learners in the year ahead.
It is also a time for meaningful conversations between families, facilitators, and the school community about how we can work together to support each child’s growth.
As part of this year’s Prathamotsav, parents shared what brought them to Tapas and what they value most about our approach to learning. From holistic development and project-based learning to learner agency and real-world experiences, their reflections beautifully capture the essence of what makes Tapas unique.

With children climbing trees before climbing grades, conversations flowing more freely than instructions, and learning happening naturally through curiosity, movement, observation, and play.
At Tapas, outings are not “activities outside the classroom.” They are the classroom.
You’ll often find learners balancing on branches, helping each other across streams, noticing tiny details in nature, asking unexpected questions, laughing loudly, getting muddy, solving things on their own, and returning home a little more confident than before.
Because we believe children learn best in spaces where they feel free to explore, free to wonder, free to move, free to be fully themselves.
And honestly, the energy says it all ✨
