Empowering Women Through Self-Defense Session!
At GIIS Bannerghatta, a Women’s Self-Defense session was conducted, focusing on building confidence and practical safety skills. The session was led by Mr. Ashish Kumar, a champion and gold medalist in Karate.
The session began with warm-up exercises and squats, followed by hands-on self-defense techniques. Participants were trained in essential skills such as blocking, quick reactions, and effective moves like knee strikes, enabling them to respond confidently in real-life situations.

Our Bannerghatta campus marked a significant milestone with the launch of the Nikon Lab in the presence of Ms. Arya Chitra, General Manager of the Youth & Kids School Program from the Nikon team. She conducted an engaging session with students, introducing them to the history of photography and the uniqueness of Nikon cameras.
Students explored creative perspectives and gained insights about photography courses and certification opportunities. The session sparked curiosity, boosted confidence, and inspired them to capture the world through their own lens.
