The Indo- German Chamber of Commerce - Bangalore organised an Indo- German CFO Breakfast Meeting on 5th August 2015. The Topic of the Meeting was "Imcome Computation and Disclosure Standards - Select Aspects". The presentation was given by Mr. Krishna Prasad of BMR Advisors.

An Interactive Seminar titled “Energizing roofs using Solar Energy for Captive Consumption” was organized by The Indo- German Chamber of Commerce - Bangalore together with Enerparc Energy Private Limited on 29th July 2015.

Bengaluru lies in the heart of southern India, with a pleasant weather round the year it is one of the cozy places to live in. The German Consulate is located in the iconic cash pharmacy building. From the window of the Consulate, one can see the busy crossroad of St. Mark’s road and Residency road. Sehr bunt wirkt der Blick aus unserer Auslandsvertretung im südindischen Bangalore! Das Generalkonsulat Bangalore/ German Consulate General Bengaluru befindet sich im Stadtzentrum im "Cash Pharmacy"- Gebäude, einem Relikt aus der Kolonialzeit. Vom Fenster des Konsulats aus sieht man die verkehrsreiche Kreuzung von St. Mark’s Road und Residency Road. Das ganze Jahr hindurch ist das Klima in der Stadt angenehm. In der direkten Umgebung des Konsulats gibt es vier Schulen und viel Grün – letzteres zum Teil dank des Wirkens des deutschen Gartenbauingenieurs Gustav Herman Krumbiegel, der in Bangalore viele blühende Bäume anpflanzen ließ. Und nicht zuletzt wegen der mehr als 170 deutschen Firmen, die in Bangalore ansässig sind, besteht auch eine blühende Wirtschaftszusammenarbeit mit Deutschland. After a warm welcome by the German Consule General Jörn Rohde (German Consulate General Bengaluru), the co-hosting company PwC India gave a deep insight into the upcoming tax legislation revision. After a detailed presentation on the various aspects of the topic, a lot of questions were raised by the interested participants. The only question that could not be answered by the experts of pwc: Will the GST be introduced on April 1st, 2016? Of course, this was also an issue of the vibrant discussions during the get together at the end of a successful event.
