Apologies for the prolonged inactivity.
As the founder member, allow me to say yet again, that it was an exhilarating experience, organizing and trekking for Backpackers Club. It feels great to know we managed to keep the spirit of adventure alive all these years. My batch-mates and I hope it continues to stay alive for many more years to come. As we have finished college, our part in it is now over and time has come to hand over the reins to new blood. We would be very happy if anyone from the current batch feels confident and comes forth to take up the estimable responsibility of heading the Club. It could even be a group. The trek proved to be a test of sheer grit and determination, which each and every one of us displayed over the last two days. After a point it was more about mind over body and surely we all were surprised seeing ourselves exceed our expectations. Some problems tried hard to deter us but we kept going. It was humbling to see everyone inspiring each other to keep going even in the face of storms….real storms!!!!! All this has helped us realize a strength within, previously unknown. It is no less than a matter of pride. And thank you all for being so forthcoming and energetic. You inspire us to bring you closer to nature and to yourself. Backpackers Club is glad to have given you this memorable experience and will continue to do so!!!!....see you soon

All our dreams can come true – if we have the courage to pursue them.
The date for the Ramnagar trek has been changed to 24 November 2013.
This is a one day trek to a place called ramnagar which is located 60 km from Bangalore. The cost and further details will be updated soon.
