On 12th and 13th of February, Amity University, Gwalior organised a Model United Nations competition for their fest, Chroma 2k18.
Four of our PGDM students, Arnab Tagore, Sneha Goenka, Sabha Kauser and Kaustav Das participated in the competition.
Elysian, the IFIM B School Literary Club is proud to announce that Arnab and Sabha have won the High Commendation awards and Sneha has won a Special Mention award for their efforts.
Congratulations to the winners and thank you, once again, to Sourav Choudhary and Kehan Vora for the role you played in this achievement.

The IFIM Literary Club, Elysian, organized a three-hour Model United Nations (MUN) training session for PGDM students of batch 2017-19, on 31st January, 2018. Sourav Choudhary, the guest speaker is an expert at breaking down complex geopolitical scenarios to its most basic elements and finding a common ground between logic and law. His area of expertise is Middle Eastern affairs and he has bagged many awards at a plethora of UN conferences, including CoMUN, NLSMUN and SJBHSMUN. Sourav Choudhary spoke about the minute intricacies of a MUN session, including Moderated and Unmoderated Caucus, Resolution Drafting and the likes. What the student attendees enjoyed the most were two practice rounds on the refugee crisis across the globe and the Kashmir dispute between India and Pakistan, for an upcoming inter-college MUN competition at Gwalior.

IGNITE is a series of speedy presentations. Presenters get 20 slides, which automatically advance every 15 seconds. The result is a fast and fun presentation which lasts just 5 minutes. Elysian, the IFIM Literary Club, conducted an essay competition on December 1st to observe the occasion of World AIDS Day.
The topic for the essay was "Changing Existing Social Attitudes Towards HIV-infected Teenagers". The essay was conducted to demonstrate that increased knowledge about AIDS is not a predictor for behavioural change, although knowledge about is a definite pre-requisite for change.
Out of the many entries we received, the winners of the essay competition are as follows:
