Department of Management Studies is glad to share that an International Study Tour to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was organized for MBA students and faculty members from 6th April to 11th April 2026.

The study tour was designed to provide global exposure and experiential learning, combining academic sessions, industry insights, and cultural experiences. As part of the academic engagement, students attended sessions at the University of Wollongong Malaysia, where they explored important topics such as foreign market entry strategies, sustainable entrepreneurship, business law and ethics, and digital transformation. These sessions significantly enhanced their understanding of international business practices and emerging global trends.

In addition to the academic sessions, students also visited prominent places in Malaysia, gaining valuable cultural exposure and broadening their global perspective.

The tour provided practical insights into international business environments, strengthened cross-cultural understanding, and enhanced students’ managerial, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Overall, the International Study Tour was a highly enriching and memorable experience that contributed meaningfully to the academic and professional development of the students.

A three-day Management Development Program (MDP) titled “Workplace Well-being” was successfully conducted at ACWA Automatics – A division of JK Fenner India Ltd, (A Unit of JK Tyre, JK Cement, and JK Group of Companies), Peenya, Bengaluru, from 23rd to 25th March 2026.

The program was designed with a focus on enhancing employee wellbeing, stress management, communication, teamwork, safety awareness, and organizational culture.

The sessions were structured to address the manufacturing sector challenges, ensuring relevance across roles. The program combined conceptual inputs with interactive activities to encourage participation and practical learning over three days of duration.

Day 1: Foundations of Wellbeing & Stress Management
Day 2: Communication, Safety & Team Wellbeing
Day 3: Healthy Habits, Ergonomics & Organizational Wellbeing

The three-day MDP was comprehensive and well-received by participants. It successfully addressed critical aspects of employee wellbeing, safety, and organizational effectiveness. The blend of theoretical insights and practical activities ensured meaningful engagement and learning.

The program is expected to contribute positively to employee productivity, morale, and overall workplace environment. Continued reinforcement through follow-up sessions and organizational initiatives is recommended to sustain the impact.
