This project rehabilitates children living on the street

We are writing to express our heartfelt thanks for supporting the event “Become a Santa”

The programme was a grand success; about 110 children who are either disabled or street children participated and had a full day of fun and laughter. The programme started with children observing 2 minutes silence as a sign of condolence for the children who lost their lives in Peshawar, Pakistan. The celebration started with the children putting their palm print on a banner. Afterwards there were a number of fun games organized for them by Ms. Winnie and other volunteers which children enjoyed thoroughly. The children were served snacks in the morning and vegetarian lunch with varieties of sweets. Children were given a chance to exhibit their talents through fancy dress and group dance competition and the winners were given prizes. We had invited a magician to give a presentation in the evening and there was a face painting artist to tattoo on their faces and hands, which each and every child enjoyed. At the end of the programme every child was given a Santa’s Gift Box. The children were very happy to receive the gifts. They expressed that it was a great opportunity to mingle with other children, have fun and exhibit their talents.
