Fête de la musique 2016 ¶¶¶

The event, Fête de la Musique, is a celebration of music also known as The World Music Day.
The day(June 21st) dedicated to the promotion of music was created by the French Ministry of Culture and was started in Paris in 1982.
La Connexion had a musical weekend with the students Alliance française de Bangalore where musicians of all genres, amateurs, or professionals along with the music fans, gathered for a celebration of music!!

La Connexion, a French Language Training Academy, is conducting a free workshop for children who are interested to learn French.
This workshop helps recognise an aptitude for the language in the young ones and provide an opportunity to enrol for their yearlong programme for the academic year 2016-17.
The yearlong programme @ La connexion not only prepares the children for the DELF Certification Examination conducted by the French Ministry of Education, but also helps them score high in French @ school.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
- Children who have been learning French @ school as 2nd or 3rd language.
-Children who are new to French are also welcome!

Children @ la connexion raise awereness about protecting our planet Earth :-)
As part of a Grammar concept taught in class @ la connexion called 'The Imperative form of a verb', children had the opportunity to discuss some of the environmental problems we are facing and they were eager to come up with zillions of solutions. They were excited to present their views in class 'IN FRENCH'!

Verb conjugation is a breeze!

The primary challenge as a student of the French language is tackling the verb conjugations. But @ la connexion, it's a challenge the students confront with a lot of enthusiasm as they are aided by our simplified teaching methodology. Here, the children perform an activity of conjugating verbs belonging to different families. As you can see, it was an intense and enjoyable activity for the children indeed:-)

Can't believe we have completed the first term of level 1 of our French language training programme with our children! In order to reinforce all the concepts taught so far, we divided the class into different activity corners which gave them the opportunity to work independently at their own pace and finally present their work to the class. This method was extremely successful and we plan to continue such sessions in the coming term as well.

This FREE introductory and activity based workshop is for children who are interested in the yearlong French language training programme that we conduct in Sobha Lakeview club.
This workshop will allow the children to soak in a bit of the Culture of France, thus kindling an interest in them to take the next step of learning the language. No prior knowledge to French is required!!
