The Coding Challenge, an initiative of the ICT Department, truly reflected a Celebration of Learning — where students demonstrated not just coding skills, but also perseverance, logical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Beyond coding, what stood out was their sense of empathy and social responsibility. The students chose to contribute towards Live and Let Live 2.0, reminding us that true education nurtures both the mind and the heart.

Our Grade 3 classroom turned into a fun-filled zone of dance and laughter during Project: Dance Party when students saw their favourite characters, Ben and Casey, come alive and start dancing on screen! 💃🕺

What made it even more exciting was that the students didn’t just watch — they created it! They explored and applied Motion, Looks, Control, and Sound blocks, bringing coding concepts to life with rhythm, music, and animation. 🎶✨

A simple coding lesson turned into a joyful celebration — full of curiosity, creativity, confidence, and hands-on learning in action! 🎉💻💡

🚦🔋 Grade 1 Young Engineers Make Their Own Traffic Lights! 🔋🚦

Our first graders stepped into the world of basic circuits with an exciting hands-on activity!

Using batteries, wires, and LEDs from their Grade 1 Robotics Kit, the children created their very own mini traffic lights — and the results were absolutely glowing!

How to connect a battery to an LED

Understanding the idea of a closed circuit

The role of traffic lights in road safety

Building confidence through experimentation and discovery

Their little faces lit up just as brightly as their LEDs! ✨

🤖✨ First Grade Robotics: From Tangram to Origami to Models! ✨🤖

Our tiny innovators in Grade 1 are a part of an introductory program which integrates Robotics in not just their Computer Studies curriculum but in other subjects as well. They took their first steps into the world of robotics—and the journey began in the most creative way!

📐 Tangram Thinking
Students used tangrams to build shapes, patterns, and characters. This helped them understand design, spatial thinking, and how smaller parts come together to make a whole—just like in robotics!

🦢 Origami Creativity
Next came origami, where little hands folded paper into exciting forms. Through this, they learned precision, sequencing, and patience, all essential skills for building models.

🌟 A perfect blend of art, logic, and imagination — nurturing future innovators, one fold and one block at a time!

🌟 Computer Studies class turned into a meaningful circle time for our Grade 4 students.

When asked “What do you feel about studies?”, children spoke openly about parental and peer pressure, and how these make them feel. During this heartfelt conversation, they also learned simple time-management skills to balance studies, play and relaxation. Proud of their honesty and growth! 💛

Our Grade 5 students had an exciting time exploring Scratch programming! They learnt the basics of block-based coding — placing sprites, changing costumes, using backdrops, and adding sounds — to create their own interactive projects. A fun and creative way to introduce young minds to the world of coding!

It was wonderful to see young minds realize that coding isn’t just about computers — it’s about creativity and curiosity! 💫

Our Grade 5 students stepped into the world of digital presentations by creating PowerPoint slides on fascinating topics like Light, Sound, and the Evolution of Computers. 💡🔊💻

Through this activity, they not only gained knowledge of science and technology but also explored PowerPoint features such as adding slides, animations, transitions, and effects to bring their ideas to life. ✨🎨
