The Elite Club

Hello!
The Elite Club invites all of you to the Conescenza, our inaugural, followed by VERBAL KOMBAT, an event, for the Elite by the Elite.
The Verbal Kombat is a fiery debate where you can voice out your opinions and fight for what truly matters. That's not all! The Verbal Kombat is the eliminatory to the prestigious Model United Nations, to be held for the first time in Jain College, V.V Puram. MUN is a fantabulous event where one can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations.
So without further ado, make sure you register yourself for VERBAL KOMBAT.
Registration desks have been put up in the quadrangle.
Also, the topics for VERBAL KOMBAT have been put up on the notice boards of each floor, make sure you check them out!
Words are truly the most inexhaustible source of magic....

Hey there!
The auditions will be held tomorrow, at 12 noon. Registrations for the auditions can either be done online, or between 10:30 to 11 am in the quadrangle tomorrow.
You will be informed of the room number in which the audition is scheduled to take place, before the break tomorrow.
If you have already registered, then sit back, relax and don't worry!
Just make sure you pay attention to the room number that the auditions are scheduled to take place in, which will be announced in every class, before the break.
Also, make sure you're there, in the assigned room, at 12 noon tomorrow.

The Elite Club Registration form

Hello there!
We're back, and that too, with a bang! The Elite club of the English department from Jain PU college warmly welcomes you to another year of exciting and fun filled activities for the year 2017-18.

We have an array of events set out for you this year: Verbal Kombat is our debating event which allows you to hone your oratory skills and express your opinions on pressing issues. Radio Jockey is the highlight of our annual fest, Fahrenheit and provides students the platform to explore their communication skills on a larger stage. The Film festival is an extravaganza, with cherished and loved blockbusters being screened in the college for an entire week. Wings of hope is our annual charity run, and extends a hand to the needy during the festive month of Christmas. :)

To all our vibrant and jovial juniors- welcome! Here is a not-to miss opportunity awaiting you all. We're giving you all the chance to explore your talents and express more through the club. Come join us, a family of diversity- where you can add some color of your own and make your memories not just pieces of art, but masterpieces.
Join us at the annual auditions, where we hunt for the "Elite", the ones who refuse to settle for the ordinary, the ones who are a class apart. Stay tuned to this page for updates on registrations and auditions!

The season of joy is here, and what better way to experience joy than through giving?

Hello, there!

The Elite Club of the English Department proudly presents to you Wings Of Hope, our annual charity run. We're on a mission to put genuine smiles on the faces of the underprivileged.

We humbly request you to join us in this endeavour by donating to the cause in the form of either cash or kind.

Please refrain from donating money of old denominations, torn clothes or worn out items. Cash donations can be deposited in the assigned box at the principal's office. Your donations in kind will be accepted at the Quadrangle everyday. The last date for donations is 22 December. Thank you for your generosity!

Congratulations, Nanditha Nandakishor (I CET-M), for winning our competition. We'd like to thank everyone who participated in the contest and everyone who contributed to our charity. We're excited to hold Wings of Hope next week in the spirit of Christmas, to support the impoverished and disadvantaged. Once again, thank you all!

We're overwhelmed by the wonderful response , so many keen eyes! The lucky winner will be announced on ninth.

Hey there!

The Elite Club of the English Department brings to you our Film Festival, a celebration of cinema, to be held from 5th to 9th December 2016. We're screening four thrilling movies from a variety of genres, and another mystery movie on the last day. If you can guess the name of the final movie and report it to this page, we'll award you with movie tickets! Watch out for subtle hints and clues over the course of this week.

Please make your way to the quadrangle to acquire tickets. Desks will be up for each movie a day before its screening, with them being put up this Saturday for Mad Max: Fury Road. All proceeds will be utilised to put smiles on the faces of the underprivileged.

Each screening will take place at 11:00, at the Seminar Hall. See you there!

Prove yourself, and you'll get to show up on the big stage at Fahrenheit, and a chance to perform in front of a surprise RJ!
