Fit India Week – Cyclothon Conducted at GMS HIB Dangerpora
Today, on 14th June 2026, GMS HIB Dangerpora, in collaboration with Youth Services and Sports Zone Dangiwacha, organized a Cyclothon under the banner of Fit India Week.
The event commenced from Behrampora and concluded at the Playground, HIB Dangerpora. A total of 20 students enthusiastically participated in the cyclothon, promoting the message of physical fitness, healthy living, and environmental awareness.
The participants displayed great energy and discipline throughout the event. The programme aimed to encourage students to adopt cycling as a healthy and eco-friendly mode of transportation while fostering the spirit of sportsmanship and fitness.
At the conclusion of the event, all participants were facilitated and appreciated for their active participation and commitment towards the objectives of Fit India Week.
The school administration and officials of Youth Services and Sports Zone Dangiwacha appreciated the efforts of the participants and reiterated the importance of regular physical activity for a healthy lifestyle.

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Programme Held at BHS Hib, Panchayat Hib Dangerpora
Hib Dangerpora, June 10, 2026: Under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, an awareness programme was organized today at BHS Hib, Panchayat Hib Dangerpora to educate students and the community about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of a drug-free society.
The programme was attended by distinguished guests and speakers including Mr. G. M. Wani, ZEPO Dangiwacha, Mr. Mohammed Iqbal Sahib, ZCC, Ms. Tabasum Ji, MTR, Mr. Mohammed Ashraf Hajam, I/C Headmaster, and Mr. Abdul Ahad Mir, HOI GMS Hib, who spoke about the alarming effects of drug addiction and emphasized the collective responsibility of parents, teachers, community members, and students in combating the drug menace.
The event was also attended by Anganwadi officials, teaching staff of the Education Department, and officials from the Rural Development Department (RDD), reflecting a strong spirit of inter-departmental collaboration for the cause of a drug-free society.
Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Tantary and Mr. Sajad Ahmad Naikoo efficiently conducted the proceedings as podium in-charges. The speakers stressed the importance of awareness, prevention, healthy lifestyles, and community participation in safeguarding the younger generation from substance abuse.
Valuable logistical support for sports activities, yoga sessions, and other awareness events was provided by YSS Dangiwacha under the guidance of Mr. Ishfaq Majid Sahib. The programme featured various activities aimed at promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and positive life choices among students.
Special appreciation was extended to Mr. Tawseef Bhat Sahib for his tireless efforts, dedication, and effective coordination in ensuring the successful conduct of the programme.
The event concluded with a pledge by all participants to actively support the mission of Nasha Mukt Bharat and work together towards building a healthy, safe, and prosperous future for the nation.
