Cleanliness Drive and Painting Competition Held at HS Zehampora.

HS Zehampora, in collaboration with the 173 Engineer Regiment, organized a Cleanliness Drive and Painting Competition to promote environmental awareness, hygiene, and creativity among students.
The programme witnessed active participation from officials of the Health Department, and social and political activist Mir Iqbal. Their presence encouraged students to adopt cleanliness and environmental responsibility as an integral part of daily life.
Students enthusiastically took part in the cleanliness drive by cleaning the school premises and surrounding areas. A painting competition was also conducted, where students expressed their ideas on cleanliness, environmental conservation, and a healthy society through their artwork.
During the concluding ceremony, prizes were distributed among the winners and participants in appreciation of their efforts and talent. Refreshments were also served to all students and guests.
The school administration thanked the 173 Engineer Regiment Gantamulla, Health Department officials, and Mir Iqbal for their valuable support and contribution towards the successful conduct of the programme. The event concluded with a pledge to maintain cleanliness and work collectively for a healthier and greener environment.

The entire HS Zehampora family extends its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Abdul Naffi and his bereaved family during this difficult time. We stand with him and his family in this moment of grief and pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives the departed soul, grants him Jannat-ul-Firdous, and blesses the family with patience and strength to bear this irreparable loss.

May Allah grant the departed soul eternal peace and the highest ranks in Jannah. Ameen.

High School Zehampora Celebrates World Environment Day.

High School Zehampora marked World Environment Day with a series of meaningful activities. Master Mohd Shafi delivered a valuable speech highlighting the importance of environmental protection and urging students to adopt eco-friendly habits.
This was followed by a cleanliness drive on the school campus, a tree plantation drive where students and teachers planted saplings, and sports activities promoting team spirit among students.
The event was a great success, inspiring the school community towards a greener and cleaner future.

Today, a high-level delegation led by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, Mr. Surinder Choudhary along with Hon’ble MLA Uri, Dr. Sajad Shafi ,SDM Uri , Deputy CEO , and officials from various departments visited for an inspection of the newly constructed library, classrooms, vocational labs IT/Retail, and other infrastructural developments within the institution.

During the visit, the dignitaries inspected the ongoing developmental works and appreciated the efforts being made towards strengthening educational infrastructure and enhancing vocational and skill-based education for students. The officials interacted with the school administration, staff, and students and reviewed the overall progress and functioning of the institution.

The school administration expressed sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Deputy Chief Mr. Minister Surinder Choudhary, Hon’ble MLA Uri Dr. Sajad Shafi, and all accompanying officers for their valuable visit, guidance, and continued support towards the development of education in the region.
