Our one-day workshop on "Biochemistry and Microbiology: Innovation and Discovery in Science" gave students the opportunity to step into the lab, explore scientific techniques up close, and engage with concepts beyond textbooks.
Organized by the Department of Biological Sciences, School of Life Science and Biotechnology, the workshop introduced participants to practical aspects of microbiology and biochemistry through demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on learning sessions. It was encouraging to see students ask questions, exchange ideas, and approach every activity with enthusiasm and curiosity.
