Nature plays a vital role in the lives of indigenous communities. We at KISS promote awareness about conserving biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance.

We are proud to share that our Indian Under-14 Women’s School Chess Team, comprising four talented tribal girls, has continued its outstanding run at the ongoing FIDE ISCF World School Team Chess Championship 2026 in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

In the fifth round, our team secured an impressive 3–1 victory over Uzbekistan, once again showcasing our exceptional form, determination, and strategic brilliance on the global stage. With this crucial win, we have further strengthened our position in the tournament standings, reflecting our consistency, teamwork, and composure under pressure.

Our players, Mohini Naik, Monalisha Bhoi, Shreeya Nayak, and Humeswari Mallik, have made us immensely proud with their confident and skilful performance against a strong Uzbekistan side. We now move into the sixth round, where we are set to face KGZ-School.

This achievement reflects our continued commitment to nurturing talent through rigorous training and a strong support system. Through this journey, we continue to celebrate the power of inclusive education and the immense potential of tribal youth, as we carry forward our mission with pride and purpose.
