With profound grief and deepest respect, we mourn the sad demise of Late Lieutenant General B. S. Dhaliwal, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd.), who passed away on 30 May 2026. A distinguished soldier, visionary leader, and proud son of the Indian Army, Lt Gen B. S. Dhaliwal dedicated his life to the service of the nation with exceptional courage, integrity, and commitment. He served as Engineer-in-Chief and was widely respected for his dynamic leadership and outstanding contribution to the Corps of Engineers and the Indian Armed Forces.
He was the beloved son of Late Lt. Col. H. S. Dhaliwal, Director of New Careers Academy, and carried forward the family’s legacy of service, discipline, and devotion to the nation.
His remarkable achievements, unwavering spirit, and selfless service will continue to inspire generations of officers, soldiers, and young aspirants.
On behalf of the entire New Careers Academy family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the family during this difficult time.
