Sustained conservation efforts by the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) and the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change have driven this recovery. Emergency Provisions in the Indian Constitution - Borrowed trom Germany?
Did you know? The Emergency Provisions in the Indian Constitution were borrowed from the Weimar Constitution of Germany.
These provisions empower the Union Government to act decisively during crises that threaten national security, state stability, or financial health.
3 Types of Emergencies:
National Emergency (Article 352) - When the security of India is threatened.
2 State Emergency (Article 356) - When constitutional machinery in a state fails.
3 Financial Emergency (Article 360) - When India’s financial stability is endangered.
