A student documentary that explores the rich heritage and craftsmanship of Thammampatti, a village in Tamil Nadu renowned for its centuries-old wood carving tradition.

Through interviews, field research, and visual storytelling, "VIKRAHA" captures the dedication, artistry, and cultural significance of the master craftsmen who continue to preserve this timeless art form. The documentary also highlights the challenges faced by traditional artisans in today's rapidly changing world and the importance of preserving their legacy for future generations.

Feather of my Heart | Final Year Project

Meet Harini, a B.Sc Animation student from ICAT Chennai, presenting her final graduation project, "Feathers of My Heart" an emotional family drama animation short film.

Throughout her journey at ICAT, Harini explored storytelling, animation, and visual communication through various creative projects. For her final project, she wanted to create a heartfelt story that emotionally connects with audiences and leaves a lasting impression.

🦜 About the Project
Feathers of My Heart tells the touching story of a mute little girl who rescues an injured parrot. As they grow together, the parrot becomes more than a companion—it helps her discover her voice. Years later, even in old age, she continues to cherish the bond with the friend who changed her life forever.

🎬 Through this project, Harini focused on emotional storytelling, character animation, expressive performances, sound design, and cinematic visuals to bring the narrative to life.

A beautiful reflection of passion, creativity, and the power of animation to tell meaningful stories. ❤️
