So Kalavaibhavam 2K16 couldn't get better :')
It's heartwarming to know that all the efforts and hardships we faced to make this event a savvy one did indeed pay off. 'Twas a good two days and I'm sure many would agree :)) a big thanks to everyone who shared our frolic! Hindu, let's be proud of ourselves for putting up a good show!

FUTSAL
DAY 2
TIMINGS: 9:30 - 1:30 PM CATEGORY: IX-XII
No of teams per school: 1
No of participants per team: 4
1. 3 on 3 game. One substitute.
2. Studs are allowed.
3. 7 minutes per half. Break of 2 minutes between halves.
4. Other rules will be mentioned on the field.
5. Referee’s decision will be final.

Mounam Pesiyathe – DUMB C
DAY 2
TIMINGS: 11.00AM - 1.00 PM CATEGORY: IX-XII
1. The time limit and scoring method will be revealed on spot
2. Top 6 teams will qualify for the final round.
3. PROHIBITED - Enacting of letters, numbers etc. and Usage for props or any other inanimate objects present.
4. In case of any discrepancies, the decision of judges will be final and binding.
5. CRITERIA OF JUDGEMENT: Adaptability, Interpretation, Enacting skills.

Zapping - CHANNEL SURFING
DAY 1
TIMINGS: 2:30 - 4:00 PM CATEGORY: IX-XII
No. of teams per school: 1
No of participants per team: 4
1. Participants will have to enact the channel given by the judge and change
to different channels spontaneously
2. NO preparation time will be given.
3. NO vulgarity will be allowed
4. CRITERIA FOR JUDGEMENT: Humour, creativity, spontaneity

All speedcubers. Get ready for the CUBING event.
DAY 2
TIMINGS: 10:30 - 1:00 PM CATEGORY: IX-XII
Open Event
1. Participants are requested to bring their own cubes (3x3)
2. Each participant will get 5 solves and the average will be taken for judgment.
3. Cutoff – 1 min. i.e., If a participant fails to solve the cube within the cutoff in the first two solves, the remaining three solves will not be allowed.

Hit that Jive - ADAPTUNE
DAY 2
TIMINGS: 12.30 - 1.30 PM CATEGORY: IX-XII
No. of teams per school: 1
No. of participants per team: 2.
1. It will be a faceoff between different schools after drawing of chits.
2. 3 minutes on stage. Any genre.
3. NO props allowed.
4. CRITERIA FOR JUDGEMENT: Synchronization, Expressiveness, Choreography.

Yin and Yang - BLOCK AND TACKLE
DAY 1
TIMINGS: 1:30 - 3:00 PM CATEGORY: IX-XII
No. of participants per school: 2
1. It is an individual event where participants will have to talk for and against the given topic as the Judges keep switching between ‘block’ and ‘tackle’.
2. No profanity
3. Topic will be given on the spot.
4. CRITERIA FOR JUDGEMENT: Content, spontaneity, humor, continuity.
