The word "IQRA" in Arabic means read and Iqra Academy, Darbhanga ofcourse, is the only academy in town engaged in eradication of illiteracy in an Anglo-Islamic way and environment. The teaching programme of the academy are intended not only to impart simple education but also to expose the students to the processes necessary to fulfill the roles demanded in rapidly changing environment.
