Today our school celebrated Superhero Day with great enthusiasm and excitement. Students were introduced to fictional superheroes like Batman, Superman, Shaktimaan, Spiderman and Chhota Bheem, while also learning about the real superheroes in our lives — parents, teachers, firefighters, farmers, policemen etc who inspire us every day through their service and care.
The children were given an important message that true superheroes are those who perform good deeds, help others, and spread kindness. Students also took a special oath to be honest ,kind and brave, help everyone, and strive every day to become real superheroes in their own lives. Adding to the excitement, students of Classes I and II visited a fire station to meet the real-life heroes — firefighters.
Through pictures and discussions, children understood that anyone can become a superhero by doing good every day.

Some superheroes do not wear capes or fly, yet they exist in the form of uniforms, courage, and selfless service. Honouring these real-life heroes, and in continuation with the celebrations of National Superhero Day and International Firefighters’ Day, the students of Forms 1 and 2 visited the Fire Station at Bhikaji Cama Place for an enriching learning experience beyond the classroom.
The students were warmly welcomed by Mr. Mukul, the Head of the Fire Station, along with his dedicated team. The firefighters gave an engaging demonstration on the working of a fire brigade and introduced the children to the various features of a fire engine, including its siren, blinkers, sprinklers, and rescue ladder used during emergency operations. The students also learnt the importance of dialling 101 in case of a fire or emergency.
As a heartfelt gesture of gratitude and appreciation, the students honoured the firefighters by presenting them with handmade superhero badges prepared at school. The visit proved to be informative, inspiring, and memorable, leaving the children with deep respect and admiration for the brave firefighters who work tirelessly to keep us safe.
