🧘‍♀️ International Yoga Day Celebration 2026 🧘‍♂️

SB DAV Public School, Vasant Vihar, celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the school premises with great enthusiasm and participation.

Students, parents, and teachers came together to embrace the spirit of yoga and holistic well-being. The session was conducted under the able guidance of Guru Yogi Ravindra Ji, who led the participants through various yoga asanas and breathing exercises, highlighting the importance of a healthy body and a peaceful mind.

The event proved to be a refreshing, rejuvenating, and enriching experience for everyone present. It fostered a sense of harmony, positivity, and wellness among the participants.

The programme was meticulously planned and successfully executed under the visionary leadership and guidance of our respected Principal, Ms. Gargi Chhabra, whose constant encouragement made the event a memorable success.

Together, we reaffirmed the message that yoga is not just an exercise but a way of life that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

With heartfelt gratitude and warm wishes, the SBDAV family bid a fond farewell to Mr. Ramratan on 30th May 2026 in the school premises, marking the conclusion of his long and dedicated service to our esteemed institution.

Throughout his tenure, Mr. Ramratan served the school with unwavering commitment, sincerity, and diligence. His hard work, humble nature, and dedication have left an indelible mark on the hearts of students, staff, and all who had the privilege of working with him.

The farewell ceremony was filled with emotions, cherished memories, and expressions of appreciation for his invaluable contributions. On this special occasion, our respected Principal, Ms. Gargi Chhabra, felicitated Mr. Ramratan and extended her heartfelt gratitude along with her best wishes for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling future.

As he embarks on a new chapter of life, we extend our deepest gratitude and wish him continued success, good health, and happiness in all his future endeavors.

To nurture the habit of reading among students, a wonderful three-day Scholastic Book Fair was organised in the school under the inspiring guidance of Principal Mrs. Gargi Chhabra. The Book Fair was inaugurated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the beginning of an enriching literary experience for students.

Principal Ma’am has always been deeply committed to encouraging reading habits among children through thoughtful initiatives like the Reading Club. As a new initiative introduced in the school diary, students will maintain a record of the pages they read during the holidays and will be appreciated and awarded for their efforts, further motivating them to become regular readers.

Students from Classes I to XII enthusiastically explored a wide range of books, including storybooks, comics, encyclopaedias, activity books, inspirational titles, and educational literature. Over the three days, the children joyfully browsed through different genres, discovered new books, and noted down the titles they wished to read.

On the third and final day, during the PTM, parents also visited the Book Fair and appreciated the thoughtful initiative and the wonderful collection of books made available for all age groups.

The Book Fair truly created an atmosphere of curiosity, imagination, and joyful learning, inspiring students to become lifelong readers.

☔💦 Fun Under the Shower 💦☔
The Kindergarten students of SBDAV had a joyful and refreshing time during the “Fun Under the Shower” activity. 🌈✨
As the theme of water was going on, the little ones explored water play activities with great excitement and enthusiasm. They enjoyed splashing, playing, and laughing together, making beautiful memories with their friends. 🥳💧
The fun-filled day became even more special as the children also relished delicious snacks after the activity. 😊🍿

Students of Classes 6–9 had a delightful time watching Krishnavataram as part of the No Bag Day celebration. The day was filled with fun, laughter, and meaningful moments as students enjoyed bonding with their teachers and classmates in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. ✨🎬📚
