At Brilliants' Convent, we proudly celebrated World Environment Day 2026 by engaging our young eco-warriors in a variety of meaningful activities. Students showcased their creativity through the Best Out of Waste Competition, planted saplings to promote a greener tomorrow, delivered insightful presentations and presented a powerful mime highlighting the importance of saving water. They also participated in a βPledge for the Planetβ signature campaign, promising to protect and preserve Mother Earth.

π Empowering Young Changemakers for a Sustainable Future! π±β¨
Our students from Classes IX-XII recently participated in a highly enriching two-day educational programme at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Combating Climate Change, gaining valuable hands-on exposure to real-world sustainability practices.
On Day 1, students of Classes IX & XI explored the theme βSolar Energy Solutions for Sustainable Development.β βοΈ They learned how solar power can be harnessed effectively for clean energy generation, observed practical demonstrations at the Energy Park, and understood its role in reducing dependence on fossil fuels and promoting a greener future.
On Day 2, students of Classes X & XII engaged in the topic βUrban Micro-Farming & Sustainable Food Production.β πΏ They discovered innovative techniques of growing food in limited urban spaces, learned about organic practices, and understood how sustainable agriculture can address food security and environmental challenges.
Across both days, students actively participated in interactive sessions, explored renewable energy systems, and connected classroom learning with real-life environmental solutions.
Aligned with and the Sustainable Development Goals ( ), this experience inspired our young learners to think critically, act responsibly, and contribute meaningfully towards environmental conservation. ππ‘

On the occasion of International Museum Day, the students of Classes 9β12 visited the National Science Centre for an exciting and educational learning experience. ππ
Students enthusiastically participated in activities like the Treasure Hunt and Open House Quiz, while the inauguration of the Nuclear Reactor Model added a special highlight to the visit. βοΈπ They also explored fascinating exhibits on space, energy, human biology, and technology. πβοΈπ§¬
