The spirit of storytelling and creativity came alive as our young performers presented Around the World in 80 Days, the timeless classic by Jules Verne, as part of The Big Little Actors Camp conducted during the Summer Break in collaboration with Felicity Theatre and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of classes I-IX.
The programme commenced with a floral tribute to the cherished memory of our beloved Founder Director Ma’am, Mrs. Anjali Aggarwal, whose enduring love for literature and the performing arts continues to inspire generations of learners.
Having immersed themselves in the magical world of theatre through weeks of dedicated training, the students captivated the audience with their expressive performances, remarkable stage presence, and unwavering confidence. Their portrayal of the adventurous tale reflected not only artistic excellence but also the values of teamwork, resilience, and imagination.
Principal Ma’am, Ms. Inderpreet Kaur Ahluwalia, congratulated the budding actors on their commendable performance and felicitated each participant with certificates in recognition of their dedication, enthusiasm, and theatrical accomplishments. She also appreciated the invaluable contributions of the mentors, parents, and organisers in making the initiative a truly enriching experience.

We are delighted to share that St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Janakpuri has been conferred with the ‘Best Green Technology School Award’ at the Blue Economy Summit 2026, organised by the Indian Institute of Ecology and Environment on the occasion of World Environment Day. The summit was held at the India International Centre on 5 June 2026 and was centred on the theme, ‘Harnessing Ocean Wealth: Innovation, Inclusion and Sustainability’. It brought together distinguished environmentalists, academicians, policymakers and students to deliberate on sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

Our young learners truly brought this thought to life at the Inter-School Competition hosted by St. Cecilia’s Public School on 29 April 2026.
Participating in ‘ODYSSEY 2026 – Fold & Fiesta’, the students showcased their imagination, artistic flair, and creative thinking through drawing and paper-folding activities. Their thoughtful creations beautifully conveyed important values such as respect for nature, responsibility, conservation and the spirit of interdependence, reflecting both sensitivity and awareness beyond their years.
Representing the school with immense enthusiasm and confidence, Anayra Sharma (II-E) and Japseerat Kaur (II-E) displayed exceptional creativity and dedication. Their outstanding performance earned them the FIRST POSITION, along with Participation Certificates.

Our young learner beautifully embodied the spirit of peace at the Inter-School Competition ‘Ubharte Hastakshar 2026’, hosted by Suraj Bhan DAV School.
As part of the online event, participants delivered speeches on the thought-provoking topic, ‘Little Peace Builders – Small Hands Can Shape a Kinder World.’ Through their presentations, they explored the values of peace, kindness, empathy and cooperation, highlighting how even small acts can make the world a better place.
Representing the school with remarkable confidence and sincerity, Ansika Singh of Class I-D delivered an impressive speech that reflected the essence of compassion, caring, helping and sharing. Participating in the event ‘Innovo cast- AI Edition’, Soham Dhingra of Class VII A showcased exceptional creativity, confidence and innovative thinking. Promoting awareness about healthy eating habits, safe food practices and sustainable consumption, St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Janakpuri observed World Food Safety Day on 7 June 2026 with great enthusiasm under the Go Sharpener Programme. The celebration aimed to sensitise students towards the importance of food safety, nutrition and responsible food consumption in alignment with SDG 2 – Zero Hunger.
Students of Classes VI, VII and VIII enthusiastically participated in a series of engaging food-based activities that highlighted the significance of nutritious, safe and sustainable food choices. Class VI students prepared refreshing Jaljeera as part of the “Zero Waste Mini Food Mela,” learning the importance of minimizing food wastage and making healthy beverage choices. Class VII students showcased their culinary skills by preparing a nutritious Sprout Salad under the activity “Make a Digestive Health Recipe,” gaining insights into the benefits of balanced diets and digestive health. Class VIII students prepared a variety of seasonal fruits as immunity-boosting snacks, exploring the nutritional value of locally available produce and the importance of healthy eating practices.
Through these hands-on activities, students gained valuable insights into food hygiene, nutrition, safe food handling and sustainability. The celebration served as a meaningful learning experience, inspiring them to adopt healthy eating habits and become responsible advocates for safe and sustainable food practices.

We are proud to share that St. Mark’s Sr. Sec. Public School, Janakpuri was featured in The Times of India (NIE) for its participation in the India–Italy Educational and Cultural Exchange Programme.
Led by Mr. Rahul Aggarwal, Director, St. Mark’s Group of Schools, and Ms. Inderpreet Kaur Ahluwalia, Principal, St. Mark’s School, Janakpuri, the school delegation visited Liceo Ginnasio Mariano Buratti Public School in Viterbo, Italy.
