World Environment Day Activities

Our young eco brigade from the comfort of their households, decided to show their dedication and responsibility towards the environment on World Environment Day. The students of Grades 3, 4 and 5 embraced their love for nature, by visiting their nearby parks and gardens to delve in the beauty of mother nature. Equipped with a Nature Scavenger Sheet, the students observed natural elements in the parks, strolled through with their parents and grandparents and also chose eco-friendly material to create natural paint brushes.

Investiture Ceremony . Peter's Convent

The norms of leadership and responsibility were personified through the induction of our Council Members into the School Parliament, at a grand Investiture Ceremony of St. Peter's Convent. Graced with the benign presence of our esteemed Vice Chairperson Ma'am, Dr. Reema Tandon, the ceremony witnessed the formal acceptance of roles of leadership by our young leaders. Commencing with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, the event was followed by an intriguing Nukkad Natak presentation and a dynamic Fusion Dance performance on the concept of self-belief and perseverance. Thereafter, our respected dignitataries formalised the induction of the school Council, led by the Head Girl, Hargun Kaur Nagpal (Grade 10) and the Head Boy, Palaksh Kesarwani (Grade 10), followed by their deputies, Cultural, Creative, and Literary Incharges, Sports Captain and Vice Sports Captain, Disciplinary Heads, along with House Captains and Vice Captains. The dignitaries showered their blessings on the Council as they walk on the glorious road to success and wished them luck to handle the upcoming challenges.

Honouring parents and caregivers globally for their selfless commitment, lifelong sacrifices, and unconditional love, the Global Day of Parents is observed annually on June 1.

The day acknowledges their pivotal role in transforming the lives of children into responsible and dedicated individuals.
St. Peter’s Convent salutes all the parents for their immeasurable and incomparable presence in every child’s life.
