π Creating Awareness, Changing Futures for Children with Clubfoot π
Early identification and timely treatment can transform the life of a child born with clubfoot. As part of this outreach, sessions were held at ICDS Centre-28 with Ms Balaka Chowdhury Sarkar, ICDS Centre-30 with Ms Rekha Saha Barua, and ICDS Centre-29 with Ms Rumpa Debnath. The discussions focused on recognising clubfoot at birth, understanding the importance of early referral, and ensuring that children begin treatment as early as possible.
Frontline childcare workers play a vital role in identifying children with clubfoot and connecting families to timely care. Through these sessions, participants gained valuable knowledge about the condition and the free, effective treatment available through CURE Indiaβs Clubfoot Programme.
We sincerely thank the Anganwadi and ICDS teams for their enthusiastic participation and commitment to helping every child receive the care they deserve.
