🚴‍♀️ ASMITA CYCLE RALLY 2026 – Durgapur Pedals Towards a Healthier & Greener Future! 🌿

On 14th June 2026, the vibrant city of Durgapur witnessed the successful organization of Asmita Cycle Rally 2026, an initiative of the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Khelo India, Fit India and Cycling Federation of India (CFI), jointly organized by the West Bengal Cycling Association and Purv International School, Durgapur.

The rally promoted four important messages:
✅ Post-celebration of World Bicycle Day
✅ Physical fitness and healthy living
✅ A greener and cleaner environment
✅ Reduced dependence on fuel-based transportation

Around 110 enthusiastic cyclists of all ages and genders, representing educational institutions, corporate organizations, government sectors, and both amateur and professional cycling communities, participated in the event. The rally started from Gandhi Maidan, City Centre, Durgapur, covered a distance of 7 km, and concluded at the same venue.

The winners of the Asmita Cycling Competition for women cyclists were felicitated, while all participants received certificates of participation.

We sincerely thank the Traffic and Police Department of ADPC, Durgapur Municipal Corporation, and the representatives of the West Bengal Cycling Association for their invaluable support in making this event a grand success.

The team has earned the rare honour of representing India at the prestigious CERN laboratories, where only five teams across the globe are selected to conduct scientific experiments.

This achievement brings immense glory not only to Aritra himself, but also to the school and the nation. Notably, Team attoPION becomes only the second Indian team in thirteen years to secure this distinction, following the 2018 Mumbai delegation.

Day 2 of Joy Junction Summer Camp 2026 at Purv International School was packed with excitement, creativity, and joyful learning for our little campers up to Class II.

The day began with energetic activities and fun-filled games that kept the children active and enthusiastic. Our young learners then explored their artistic talents through engaging craft sessions, where imagination came alive with colors and creativity.

Music and movement added rhythm to the day as the children danced, sang, and enjoyed interactive sessions full of laughter and fun. Team-building activities encouraged friendship, confidence, and cooperation among the participants.

A refreshing snack break provided the perfect opportunity for the children to relax and recharge before continuing with more delightful activities.
