With the aim to improve the quality of life of rural people, the department of Rural development started its journey in the year 2012. The mission is to empower the RD professionals so that they extend their helping hand towards the rural mass. At present the department is offering Bachelors/Masters in Agriculture and Rural Studies, MA/MSc in Rural Development and PhD programme.
