Under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan students and teachers participated in the seminar under "International Drug-Free Campaign" on 23.06.2026 from 9:00 AM in Meeting Hall, police lines District Gurugram .Dr. Sumit Dhaiya Assistant Professor Department of Geography ,Dr. Prachi Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science and Mr. Deepak Kumar Extension Lecturer Department of Chemistry also participated in this event.

दिनांक 27 अप्रैल 2026 को राजकीय कन्या महाविद्यालय सेक्टर 14 गुरुग्राम में 59वें दीक्षांत समारोह पर आयोजन हुआ। दीक्षांत समारोह में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में श्री पवन जिंदल जी (सुप्रसिद्धसमाजसेवी) विशेष अतिथि के रूप में श्री कृष्ण ढुल अखिल भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा में तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त श्री एकांश ढुल आमंत्रित किए गए थे।
कार्यक्रम के आयोजन में महाविद्यालय की रजिस्ट्रार डॉ मंजुला वर्मा, महाविद्यालय के सभी वरिष्ठ प्राध्यापक को तथा समस्त कर्मचारियों ने बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लिया। लगभग ढाई सौ विद्यार्थियों को कला, वाणिज्य एवं विज्ञान की स्नातक एवं स्नातकोत्तर संबंधी उपाधि प्रदान की गई। प्राचार्य डॉक्टर जितेंद्र मलिक ने इस कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने के लिए सभी कर्मचारियों का धन्यवाद किया और उपस्थित सभी विद्यार्थियों को राष्ट्र रक्षा , राष्ट्र सेवा का संकल्प लेने के लिए प्रेरित किया। श्री पवन जिंदल जी ने अपने उद्बोधन में विद्यार्थियों को भारतीय संस्कृति भारतीय मूल्य एवं भारतीय विचार पद्धति को अपने पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि आज पूरा विश्व भारतीय संस्कृति के मानवतावादी मूल्यों और दृष्टिकोण की तरफ आशा लगाए हुए हैं। श्री एकांश ढुल ने विकसित भारत की परिकल्पना को विद्यार्थियों के सामने प्रस्तुत किया। श्री कृष्ण ढुल ने राष्ट्र की प्रगति में विद्यार्थियों को शिक्षा प्राप्त करने के उपरांत योगदान देने पर बल दिया। कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्रगान से हुआ। इस अवसर पर तीनों अतिथियों के द्वारा महाविद्यालय के प्रांगण में पौधारोपण भी किया गया।

Yuva Aapda Mitra Training Concludes at HIPA, Gurugram 1st Batch 20th April to 26th April 2026

**Gurugram, April 27, 2026** — The 7-day *Yuva Aapda Mitra* training program (20–26 April) concluded at HIPA, Gurugram, organized by DDMA Gurugram in coordination with SDMA Haryana.
A total of **50 NSS volunteers** participated, including **23 volunteers from Government College for Girls, Sector-14, Gurugram**. Their participation was encouraged by **Dr. Jitendra Malik, Principal**, who motivated students to take part in the program.

The college contingent was guided by **NSS Programme Officers Dr. Prachi, Dr. Mansi, and Ms. Jyoti**. The training included **Search & Rescue, First Aid & CPR, Rope Rescue, and Disaster Preparedness**, conducted by SDRF, Fire Department, Red Cross, and NDRF teams.

The program was coordinated by **Ms. Poonam Dahiya (DDMA)** and **Dr. Anshu (HIPA)**.*Sh. Uttam Singh, IAS, DC Gurugram*, highlighted the importance of trained youth as first responders.
All participants received certificates and Emergency Responder Kits.

🌿Physical, Socio-Economic & Demographic Field Work Survey of Dikhuli Region, Jim Corbett National Park and Nenital, Uttarakhand State 🌿
The M.A. Geography 4th Semester (2024-26 Batch) students recently embarked on an enriching and memorable field survey to the breathtaking landscapes of Dhikuli Region, Jim Corbett & Nenital, Uttarakhand from March 31 to April 4, 2026 — and it was nothing short of extraordinary! 🦅🌳
Under the expert guidance of Professor (Dr) Rajesh Kumari and Prof. (Dr) Kuldip Singh Kait (Department of Geography) and with the warm support of Ankit Sain, our students stepped beyond the classroom to experience geography in its truest, most vibrant form.
🏘️ Panood - Sunderkhal Village Interactions — Our students visited nearby villages and engaged in heartfelt conversations with local communities, gaining first-hand insights into their way of life, the environment they inhabit and the real challenges they face every day. These conversations were eye-opening, humbling, and deeply meaningful.
🌲 Jim Corbett National Park — The students also explored the magnificent Jim Corbett National Park — witnessing its rich and diverse flora and fauna up close. From towering Sal, Teek, Sangwan, rohini trees etc. to the sights and sounds of the wild, every moment was a lesson that no textbook could offer.
From the river‑cut forests of Corbett to the terraced fields of Panood village, our survey mapped how Himalayan foothill ecology and village livelihoods are tightly linked through shared water, forests and wildlife corridors

This field work survey was a perfect blend of academic learning, cultural immersion, and natural exploration — reminding us that geography is not just a subject, it is life itself.

A proud moment for our college and our department! 🎓 Thanks to our worthy principal Dr. Jitender Malik to give us permission for this golden opportunity of learning. A geographer can't become a geographer Without field work.

Today, on 7/4/26, a batik workshop was organized by the Department of Home Science for the students of Home Science, SEC and Vocational courses. Training in the workshop was given by Dr. Mili and Arti Shukla. In the workshop, the girl students learned the steps and techniques of batik art in detail and enthusiastically.
