Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram proudly took centre stage at the Indo–Bali Cultural Exchange Program and Dance Festival, organized by TAFF from 26th May to 1st June 2026.
Through mesmerizing performances, vibrant costumes, and expressive storytelling, the students beautifully showcased the rich cultural traditions of India while embracing the artistic spirit of Bali. Their graceful movements and energetic presentations reflected the true essence of cultural exchange, fostering friendship, creativity, and global understanding.

Celebrating Culture, Connection, and Creativity: India–Bali Dance Festival & Cultural Exchange Program in collaboration with TAAF Inda.
Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram learners from Grades VI–XII embarked on an enriching 6 Days, 5 Nights India–Bali Dance Festival & Cultural Exchange Program from 26th May to 1st June, experiencing a vibrant blend of cultural immersion, artistic expression, and global learning. The event brought together six schools from Delhi and eight schools from Bali, fostering meaningful cultural exchange and friendships.
Our learners proudly represented India with a mesmerizing performance on the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family” at Balai Budaya Giri Nata Mandala. Their captivating presentation earned them certificates and trophies for their exhilarating performance.
Students also participated in a Balinese Dance Workshop and visited SMP Negeri 3 Mengwi for a cultural exchange, where Ms. Anjali Dewan, our Dance Teacher conducted a workshop on the basics of Kathak. Adding to the pride of the visit, learners visited the Consulate General of India, Bali, where accompanying dance mentors from participating schools had the honour of performing.
The journey further included an exciting Jungle Safari, wildlife experiences, and a lively beach party, creating unforgettable memories while strengthening bonds of friendship and teamwork.

INDO-JAPAN CULTURAL EXCHANGE PROGRAMME
26th May - 2nd June 2026
"No culture can live if it attempts to be exclusive.” This quote by Mahatma Gandhi, captures the essence of the Japan exchange programme for our learners from Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram in collaboration with Shibaura Institute of Technology, Junior and Senior High School, Tokyo.Learners began an immersive educational trip to Japan on 26 May that blended cultural immersion, academic exchange, and personal growth. Staying with Japanese host families, they experienced daily life and traditions firsthand and formed genuine connections through shared classes and conversations. The program combined campus visits—including Shibaura Institute of Technology—and cultural sightseeing in Tokyo: Asakusa Temple, Shibuya, Odaiba Seaside Park, and the Miraikan Museum. Participants learned local etiquette, used public transport respectfully, and deepened teamwork during an Atami field trip featuring Kiunkaku Villa, geothermal observations, seaside time, and regional food. The visit also included Tokyo Disneyland, a bullet-train return to Tokyo, certificate presentations, and heartfelt farewells, leaving students with new friendships and lasting memories.The Indo–Japan Educational Exchange Programme has strengthened academic ties and developed cultural intelligence to enable sustained collaboration.

Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram conducted engaging Health & Wellness activities across the Primary, Middle, and Senior Blocks to promote holistic well-being and healthy lifestyle choices.
Primary learners participated in Healthy Tiffin Day, while Middle Block learners attended ‘Gut Glory: Eat Right, Stay Right’ by renowned nutritionist Ishi Khosla, complemented by a painting competition and Healthy Snack Day.
Senior learners took part in chair exercises and viewed an insightful video session on healthy eating by Ms Aditi Mehrotra, Public Health Nutritionist and Founder of DIETED.
The programme inspired learners to adopt healthy habits and make informed choices, fostering a culture of wellness across the school community.

Celebrates World Password Day
Theme: “Strong Passwords = Strong Protection”
At Lotus Valley International School Gurugram, Cyber Security Club – Cyber@Lotus मित्र successfully organized World Password Day on 15th May, 2026 with great enthusiasm for learners of Grades I to XII. The objective of the activities was to spread awareness about cyber safety, responsible digital behavior, and the importance of creating strong passwords to protect personal information in the digital world.
A wide range of age-appropriate and interactive activities were conducted across all grades. Learners participated in storytelling sessions, poster-making activities, slogan writing, password safety charts, PowerPoint presentations, comic strips, and awareness videos on password safety and discussions on the Do’s and Don’ts of sharing passwords. They learned how strong passwords help keep online accounts and personal information safe.
The celebration of World Password Day was highly informative, interactive, and successful in creating awareness among students about the importance of online security.

Trip to Kasauli
Grade XI | 3rd June to 5th June 2026
The Grade XI learners of Lotus Valley International School embarked on a three-day Adventure Trip to Kasauli from 3rd to 5th June 2026. A total of 70 learners, accompanied by 7 teachers, participated in the programme amidst the picturesque hills of Himachal Pradesh. The trip offered a perfect blend of adventure, teamwork, and experiential learning. Students enthusiastically took part in activities such as Zip Line, Trekking, Guerrilla Warfare, and Camp Games, which fostered courage, resilience, leadership, strategic thinking, and cooperation. The Bonfire Evening and Dance Session added excitement and camaraderie. The trip concluded with a Prize Distribution Ceremony, making the experience enriching and memorable. The programme left the learners with a renewed sense of confidence, teamwork, and appreciation for the outdoors, creating memories that will be treasured for a lifetime.

WELLNESS SESSION FOR TEACHERS
On Friday, 29th May 2026, Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram organised an enriching Wellness Session for teachers, aimed at promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and mindfulness through engaging and rejuvenating activities.
The programme included breathing exercises, warm-up movements, an energetic Zumba session, Tai Chi exercises, yoga stretches, and meditation. Teachers enthusiastically participated in the activities, which enabled them to relax, rejuvenate, and commence the day with renewed energy and positivity. The session also highlighted the significance of maintaining a balance between physical health and emotional well-being through regular movement and mindful practices.
The wellness session inspired educators to embrace healthier habits and further strengthened the culture of holistic well-being within the school community.
