The initiative of the Govt of India to promote Nationwide awareness to practice sustainable measures to minimise water use and conserve this valuable resource is highly appreciated.

Here at Sri Aurobindo Vidyamandir High school, the first step of Jal Pakhwada 2026 ,saw the plantation of some saplings which with years will grow and act as a tool for preserving underground water and also reduce the evaporation of water from the Earth, leading to a more liverlier air quality.
Thereafter, Jal Pakhwada was observed on a few days to promote the message about the conservation of water and how to save and sustain this valuable resource.
Jal Pakwadha pledge was taken and discussion on this subject was done.

"Our Power, Our Planet", the theme of Earth day,2026 was the addressing issue of today's program at our school today.

The need for cleaner,greener Earth is the loud call of the day.

The children were told about restorative initiatives for Mother Earth and how collective hands and efforts can usher in the much needed change for repair.

With immense pride,we congratulate Sudhanshu Choudhary of Class X ,who has been selected for the educational tour to Gujarat.

The district level Prerana Utsav was held in Guwahati, Gorkha ME school, Paltan Bazar and two of the participants had been selected from Kamrup Metro.

These two students,one being Sudhanshu Choudhary, will participate in PRERANA Vadnagar Mehsana Gujarat from 31st May to 6th June' 2026

As the new academic year, sets sail, we at Sri Aurobindo Vidyamandir High school, greeted the beginning with a floral touch.

This very day ,saw the farewell ceremony of our dear teacher Shri Nirmal Sinha, who was bid a teary adieu.

Death is reminder that,life's strides on this Earth needs to be measured well.
A few of our school teachers paid their deep condolences to the family members of Late Tapati Dey,at her residence.
She was a teacher of this school and retired in the year 2008 .
She left for the land of no return a few days back.
The school remembers her with gratitude and prays that she
finds peace and bliss in the heavenly abode

The theme for Hackathon 2026 was on .
A much needed theme to create awareness for planet Earth.

Our children came up with a beautiful model and drawings on chart papers on , with help of two of our teachers.

This topic is the call of the day to minimise urban flooding, increase water storage and reduce water scarcity during dry seasons.

In an engaging and engrossing session conducted by JCI on youth empowerment at our school,on 17 th February'2026 the students felt invigorated,elated and came out more richer with knowledge.

Knowledge about equipping oneself with positive aura,thoughts and how to steer oneself away from distractions and negative energies.
How to value time and set goals in life.

The impact on the young minds was powerful and the school conveys thanks to Rishab Jain for being a wonderful resource person.
