Students of DAV Police Public School, Hisar proudly participated in the One-Day Summer Camp organized by Dainik Jagran on 23 June 2026. 🌟
The camp provided an enriching platform for students to enhance their creativity, language skills, and artistic abilities. During the workshop, students actively engaged in various activities including Craft Activity 🎨, Reading Session 📚, Letter Writing ✍️, Best Out of Waste ♻️, and Dance Workshop 💃.
Through these engaging activities, students not only showcased their talents but also developed important life skills such as creativity, communication, environmental awareness, and self-expression.
It was truly a memorable and inspiring learning experience for our young achievers. 🌈✨

*International Yoga Day Celebrated with Great Enthusiasm at DAV Police Public School, Hisar*

DAV Police Public School, Hisar, celebrated International Yoga Day with great zeal and enthusiasm, reaffirming its commitment to promoting health, wellness, and holistic development among students and staff.
The programme witnessed the active participation of around 100 students and 60 teachers, who performed various yoga asanas and pranayama techniques with dedication and precision. The participants had undergone regular training sessions since 8 June 2026 under the expert guidance of Mr. Manish Kaushal, with valuable support from the school's Sports Coach, Mr. Satish Siwach.
The event was graced by Principal Mrs. Indu Sharma, Punjab National Bank Manager Mr. Narendra Sharma, teachers, and students, who collectively practised yoga and conveyed the message of fitness, discipline, and healthy living.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mrs. Indu Sharma emphasized the significance of yoga in nurturing physical fitness, mental peace, and spiritual well-being. She encouraged students to incorporate yoga into their daily routine and highlighted its effectiveness in managing stress, enhancing concentration, and leading a balanced life.
Inspired by the vision of DAV CMC President, Arya Ratna and Padma Shri Awardee Mr. Punam Suri, the school organized the programme to create awareness about healthy living and to connect students with India's rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
The celebration concluded with a collective pledge by all participants to make yoga an integral part of their lives and to contribute towards building a healthy society and a strong nation.
The event served as a reminder that yoga is not merely an exercise but a way of life that promotes harmony between the body, mind, and soul.

Report on Bhartiya Bhasha (Sanskrit) Summer Camp

The school successfully organized a Bhartiya Bhasha (Sanskrit) Summer Camp from 18th May 2026 to 25th May 2026 with the objective of promoting the richness of the Sanskrit language and encouraging students to develop interest in Indian culture and heritage. The camp provided students with an engaging and joyful learning experience through various interactive activities.
Throughout the camp, students participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity, confidence, and language skills.
Activities Conducted
Day 1 – Role Play
Students performed short role plays in Sanskrit based on daily life situations and moral values. The activity enhanced their speaking skills and confidence.
Day 2 – Sanskrit Conversation
Students practiced simple conversational sentences in Sanskrit. They learned greetings, introductions, and common expressions used in daily communication.
Day 3 – Sanskrit Song
Students presented melodious Sanskrit songs and shlokas. The activity created a cultural and spiritual atmosphere in the school.
Day 4 – Fruits and Vegetables Names in Sanskrit
Students learned and presented the names of various fruits and vegetables in Sanskrit through flashcards and fun activities.
Day 5 – Storytelling in Sanskrit
Students narrated short and interesting stories in Sanskrit with proper expressions and pronunciation. This activity improved their vocabulary and listening skills.
Day 6 – Monuments Names in Sanskrit
Students explored and learned the Sanskrit names and descriptions of famous Indian monuments. They also shared interesting facts related to them.
Day 7 – Samay Vadanam
Students learned how to express time in Sanskrit. Various speaking exercises and games were conducted to make the activity enjoyable and interactive.
Conclusion
The Bhartiya Bhasha (Sanskrit) Summer Camp was highly informative, enjoyable, and successful. It helped students develop respect and appreciation for the Sanskrit language and Indian traditions. The active participation of students and teachers made the camp a memorable learning experience for everyone.
