Remembering one of the greatest teacher in India on his 165th birthday.

Rabindranath Tagore was one of the first teachers to take teaching beyond the confines of the classroom and form a school, which he envisioned to be 'a world centre for the study of humanity somewhere beyond the limits of nation and geography'. Teaching usually took place outdoors or under trees in this school.

Tagore personally mentored his students, not just academically but also emotionally and spiritually to ensure that they receive a holistic education.

Rabindranath Tagore also reshaped Bengali literature and music, becoming the first non-European to win the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913 for Gitanjali. A towering figure of the Bengal Renaissance, he composed the national anthems of India and Bangladesh, he revolutionized Indian poetry, fiction, and art.

Swami Vivekananda was born on 12th January 1863, a spiritual leader, philosopher, and cultural ambassador who left a lasting impact on the world. His teachings of love, tolerance, and respect for all religions continue to be relevant and inspiring even today.
