Delhi Public School, Howrah celebrated International Yoga Day and World Music Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The occasion was made especially meaningful by the presence of students from Makardah Uttaran Pratibandhi Punorbasan Kendra, who joined us in a day of wellness, music, and togetherness.
The celebration featured a rejuvenating yoga session, soulful musical performances, and meaningful interactions that highlighted the values of inclusivity, empathy, and friendship. Through yoga and music, students experienced the power of connection beyond boundaries and differences.
The event served as a beautiful reminder that wellness, creativity, and compassion are universal languages that unite us all.

It gives us immense joy and pride to share that Somanshu Dutta of Class XII Science, has secured the 2nd position at the National Level of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2025–26, held at IIT Gandhinagar.

We extend our heartiest congratulations to Somanshu for this remarkable achievement. His dedication and excellence truly inspire the entire school community.

Mother’s Day Celebration 2026

Behind every little child who believes in themselves is a mother who believed first.”
A heartwarming Mother’s Day celebration was held at the school for the mothers of our Pre-Nursery and Nursery students. Mothers were warmly invited to spend their special day with their little ones, and the campus came alive with joy, laughter, and cheer. They participated in interactive and fun-filled games like, Look for Your Sunshine, Roll the Ball, Popsicle Timeout, Hungry Frog Duo, Pattern Play, Tangrams, Musical Rhymes, etc, with their wards. They also enjoyed making photo frames and handprint art as keepsakes to take home. It was a beautiful celebration of love, togetherness, and bonding — a day that created lasting memories for both
mothers and children to cherish forever.

The students of Class VI of Delhi Public School Howrah conducted a meaningful special assembly titled “The Sweetest Offering – Sabari’s Berries: A Tale of Pure Devotion.” Based on an inspiring episode from the Ramayana, the presentation beautifully highlighted the values of devotion, equality, humility, and unconditional love.
Through expressive acting, narration, music, and dance, the students captivated the audience and conveyed the timeless message that true devotion comes from the purity of one’s heart. The assembly was appreciated by all for its heartfelt performances and strong moral values.
