HackIIIT is back, and we’re raising the bar.

Built on the idea that great systems come from focused builders, HackIIIT ’26 is a 24 hour hackathon backed by Jane Street with a ₹1,00,000 prize pool. No registration fee, strong mentorship, real problems, and space to think deeply before you build.

We at OSDG are pleased to invite you to our "Intro to git+GitHub" session. Git is a powerful version control system used to track changes in codebases, and GitHub serves as platform for hosting and collaborating on projects. Both Git and GitHub are industry standards, extensively used in many courses (ISS, OSN, DASS, etc) and the tech world in general.

This session is open to everyone, not just UG1 students. We'll cover the basics of Git and demonstrate how use it via the command line and VSCode. Please make sure to have both Git and VSCode installed before the session.
