At Amra, we believe that meaningful learning begins with connection, to stories, to play, and to one another.
Amra in Your Neighbourhood was a chance to bring that philosophy beyond our walls and into the community, inviting families to experience a little of what makes us special. Through the story “”Wow! Said the Owl”” by Tim Hopgood, children and families spent the morning creating, discovering, and sharing moments together.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in their neighbourhood. :)

Science came alive through laughter, bubbling foam, careful observation, and tiny hands experimenting side by side.
At our Science Atelier, curiosity took the lead. Children discovered sound vibrations, magnets, light and shadow, and chemical reactions through open-ended, hands-on exploration.
At Amra, learning always begins with wonder.

The last day of school at Amra was full of little moments we know we’ll remember.
Children spent the morning splashing around in water, playing beach games, and adding little pieces of themselves to our summer tree with notes brought from home.
There was laughter and the kind of slow, happy moments we hope childhood is full of. What a privilege it has been to witness their friendships, curiosities, conversations, and growth unfold day by day.
Wishing all our families a gentle, joy-filled summer.

There’s nothing quite like watching a child get lost in a story, and this Thursday, we are making that magic happen at Amra!
Author Armaan Farid will be joining us live to read The Brave Little Dinosaur: Achoo, following the adventures of the bravest little dinosaur with the biggest sneeze around.
It is going to be a morning of pure joy, imagination, and laughter, for our wonderful Amra family!

Most children today meet vegetables after they’ve already been cleaned, cut, and packaged.
At Amra, children meet them as seeds.
Over the past few weeks, the children at Amra planted, watered, and watched. This morning they came back with scissors and baskets and harvested tomatoes and brinjal they had grown themselves.
Environmental literacy doesn’t begin with facts about the planet. It begins with a child who has held a root, watched a fruit turn colour, and understood without being told that the earth gives back what you give it.
That’s what we did today. That’s what we do every day.

At Amra, we have always maintained a strict no-screen policy. As our children explore Ocean Treasures, our team has been brainstorming creative ways to help them experience the wonders of the ocean—right here in landlocked Hyderabad.
Serendipitously, we discovered RoundGlass Sustain, and their incredible content immediately caught our interest. This led to a special collaboration, where we hosted a screening for our children. It was a fascinating day filled with awe-inspiring documentaries about the ocean, learning about corals, and creating beautiful underwater-themed artwork.
A heartfelt thank you to RoundGlass Sustain for a day filled with curiosity, wonder, and excitement!
