The Mechatronics and Autonomous Systems Lab provides a platform for exploring this convergence through robotics, automation, embedded systems, sensing technologies, and AI-driven engineering. With a focus on experimentation and innovation, the lab supports research and learning that contribute to the next generation of autonomous technologies.

Applications are now open for the 5-Month Internship-cum-Certification Programmes at the Bajaj Engineering Skills Training (BEST) Centre, Mahindra University.

Designed to strengthen industry-relevant engineering competencies, these full-time programmes combine classroom learning with extensive practical training and project-based experience.

• Advanced Manufacturing (Industry 4.0 + IIoT)
For students of Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Automotive, and Aerospace Engineering

• Firmware Development
For students of ECE, ECM, VLSI Design, EIE, EEE, and ETM

Programme Highlights:

• Duration: August–December 2026 (5 months, full-time)
• 560+ hours of learning
• 70% practical and 30% theory
• 90 hours of industry-relevant project work with guidance
• Intake: 60 students per specialisation

Certification:

• BEST – Graduate Trainee Engineer (Advanced Manufacturing: Industry 4.0 and IIoT)
• BEST – Graduate Trainee Engineer (Firmware Development)

Eligibility:

• 7th semester undergraduate engineering students
• Recent graduates (within the last two years)
• CGPA 6.0 and above
• No active backlogs

Programme Fee:

• ₹10,000 for 5 months
• Accommodation not included

Research at the Centre for Sustainable Infrastructure and Systems (CSIS) at Mahindra University is exploring exactly that through artificial intelligence, drone systems, digital twins, immersive technologies, and intelligent monitoring systems.

Serving researchers from Physics, Chemistry, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, and the Centre for Life Sciences, the lab brings multiple disciplines together to decode material behaviour and enable next-generation applications.
