On the occasion of World Environment Day-26, interactors of MGSSS, chaura rasta, gave the message of redefining waste as a resource and understanding material lifecycle and consumer waste reduction.Students worked in teams to design model outfits made entirely from discarded newspaper, cardboard & bottle caps. This activity fostered creativity and a sense of respect towards the environment in them.

*Earth Day Celebrated with Zeal; Poster Making Competition*

*Date : 22nd April 2026:*
To mark World Earth Day, MGSSS chaura rasta organised a special assembly and a Poster Making Competition on the theme *Our Power, Our Planet* highlighting the importance of Earth Day and the urgent need to protect our environment. Students took a pledge to reduce plastic use, plant more trees, and conserve water.
Over 70 students participated and showcased their creativity by illustrating issues like climate change, deforestation, renewable energy, and ‘Say No to Plastic’.

Earth Day is an annual celebration that honors the achievements of the environmental movement and raises awareness of the need to protect Earth’s natural resources for future generations.
