Ranu Ratnavati school, 50kms from Jaisalmer is an effort to encourage girl education in this region of Thar.
Designed by a US-based architect Diana Kellogg and commissioned by CITTA, a non-profit organisation, the school aims to educate girls and empower them, considering the low female literacy rate in Jaisalmer.
Architecture isn’t always about clients who could afford an architect but also about people’s architecture, this is something that our profession aims to achieve.
