Empowering Future Nurses Through Experiential Learning! 🌟

Krishna Institute of Nursing Science & Research, Kanpur proudly shares the enriching professional exposure of our B.Sc. Nursing 7th Semester and M.Sc. Nursing (Medical-Surgical Nursing) students during their educational visit to TNAI and the Indian Nursing Council (INC), New Delhi, on 1st–2nd June 2026.

Under the guidance of Faculty Coordinators Mrs. Karishma Kesarvani (Assistant Professor) and Mr. Saurabh (P.G. Tutor), students participated in two days of intensive learning and skill development.

📍 Day 1 | TNAI-ITC Centre
Students attended an orientation of the Advanced Simulation Lab by Mrs. Annu Verma, Assistant Secretary General, TNAI, followed by hands-on Basic Life Support (BLS) Training covering CPR for adults, children and infants, AED usage, airway management, and choking emergencies. The training equipped students with essential life-saving and emergency response skills.

📍 Day 2 | Indian Nursing Council (INC)
An insightful session by Dr. Col. Sarabjeet Kaur, Secretary, INC, provided students with valuable knowledge about nursing education standards, curriculum development, quality assurance, faculty norms, and leadership opportunities within the profession.

These two inspiring days at India's premier nursing institutions strengthened our students' clinical competence, professional awareness, and commitment to excellence in healthcare.

A heartfelt thank you to TNAI and INC for providing such a valuable learning experience and inspiring the next generation of nursing professionals.

Bridging Nutrition Knowledge with Practical Learning!

Krishna Institute of Nursing Science & Research, Kanpur successfully conducted the Nutritional Practical Activities for the ANM & GNM Batch (2025–26) from 28th May to 2nd June 2026 at the Nutrition Lab, Department of Community Health Nursing.

Over the course of 5 days, 46 students actively participated in hands-on learning sessions covering essential therapeutic nutrition topics including:

✅ Hypertension Patient Diet
✅ Protein Energy Malnutrition (PEM)
✅ Anaemic Patient Diet
✅ Diabetic Patient Diet
✅ Lactating Women's Diet

Through recipe preparation, diet planning, nutritional demonstrations, and patient-specific dietary counselling, students gained valuable practical exposure to the role of nutrition in disease prevention, treatment, and recovery.

These activities enhanced students’ understanding of balanced nutrition, therapeutic diets, and evidence-based dietary management, preparing them to deliver holistic patient care in their future nursing practice.

At Krishna Institute of Nursing Science & Research, we continue to empower future healthcare professionals through experiential learning and skill-based education.
