Stress Management Seminar for Teachers by CBSE.

A Stress Management Seminar for teachers was organized in the school on 30 May 2026 with the aim of promoting mental well-being and helping educators manage workplace stress effectively. The seminar was attended by all teaching staff members.

The resource persons highlighted the causes of stress in professional and personal life and shared practical techniques to cope with stress. Various topics such as time management, positive thinking, mindfulness, relaxation exercises, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance were discussed. Interactive activities and group discussions made the session engaging and informative.

Teachers actively participated in the seminar and gained valuable insights into maintaining emotional health and improving productivity. The session proved to be highly beneficial and encouraged the participants to adopt healthy stress-management practices in their daily lives.

The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks to the resource person and the school management for organizing such an enriching and meaningful programme.

*Road Safety Instructions by a Traffic Police Safety Instructor*

A road safety awareness session was conducted for the Admin staff, Lab assistants & support staff by Ms.Deepa Arora, a traffic police safety instructor on 26th May,2026. The instructor explained the importance of following traffic rules to prevent accidents and ensure public safety.

Staff members were advised to always wear helmets while riding two-wheelers and use seat belts in cars. The instructor emphasized obeying traffic signals, avoiding mobile phone use while driving, and maintaining speed limits. Special attention was given to pedestrian safety and the correct use of zebra crossings. The dangers of drunk driving and careless road behavior were also discussed.

The instructor encouraged everyone to remain alert on roads and respect fellow road users. Practical examples and safety tips were shared to help staff understand safe driving habits.

The session was informative and beneficial, creating greater awareness about responsible road behavior and personal safety among the support staff.

*Felicitation Ceremony Organized by MY FM 94.5 for class X and XII students*

My FM 94.5 organised the Felicitation Ceremony to recognise and celebrate the academic excellence of class X and XII students who performed exceptionally well in their board examinations. The initiative aimed to motivate young achievers and highlight the importance of education and hard work.

62 students of Dyal Singh Public School, Dyal Singh Colony, Karnal received a trophy from MY FM 94.5 as a reward for their excellent performance in board exams.

Distinguished educationists and school principals addressed the gathering and applauded MY FM's initiative.

The event commenced on an auspicious note with a graceful classical dance presented by Purna of class X of Dyal Singh Public School, Dyal Singh Colony, Karnal. Adding vibrancy to the event, a high energy Punjabi folk dance was also performed by the students of our school.

The Felicitation Ceremony by My FM 94.5 served as a meaningful platform to honour young talent and inspired the student community.

*A Two-Day Workshop by CBSE on Joyful Maths*

A two-day workshop on **Joyful Maths* was organized by the Central Board of Secondary Education to promote innovative and engaging methods of teaching mathematics. The workshop aimed to make mathematics enjoyable, activity-based, and learner-centered.

Teachers participated in various hands-on activities, games, puzzles, and collaborative learning exercises designed to strengthen mathematical concepts in a fun way.

Resource persons Mr. Ravi Sharma & Mr. Madhur Sagar Gupta shared effective strategies for reducing mathematics anxiety and encouraging critical thinking among students. Sessions focused on experiential learning, use of teaching aids, real-life applications of mathematics, and competency-based education. Participants actively engaged in discussions, group tasks, and demonstrations that highlighted creative classroom practices.

A seminar on Storytelling as Pedagogy was organized by CBSE to promote innovative teaching practices in schools. Resource persons Ms. Jyotishma & Ms. Savita Grak explained how stories can make complex concepts easier to understand and improve classroom engagement.

Teachers were encouraged to integrate stories into different subjects to create meaningful and experiential learning opportunities.

Gender Sensitivity Seminar Conducted by CBSE

A Gender Sensitivity Seminar was organized under the guidance of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to promote awareness about gender equality and respectful behavior among students. The seminar aimed to educate participants about the importance of treating all individuals with dignity, irrespective of their gender.

The resource person Ms. Pooja Chhabra & Ms. Manju Sehgal explained various aspects of gender sensitivity, including stereotypes, discrimination, and equal opportunities.

Through interactive discussions, real-life examples, and activities, Teachers learned how gender biases can affect individuals and society. The seminar also emphasized the significance of creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment in schools.

*Proud Achievement in National Karate Championship 2026*
We are delighted to share that Bhavesh Sharma brought laurels by winning a Gold Medal in the Youth Cup Open National Karate-Do Championship 2026, organized by the Japan Karate-Do NanbuKai Sh*to Ryu India.
The championship was held at Divisional Sports Complex on 27–28 April 2026. Bhavesh participated in the 6–7 years age category and showcased exceptional talent, discipline, and determination to secure the prestigious Gold Medal.
