πŸ«€ ECG Challenge Time! πŸ«€
Only 20% of learners get this right on the first try. Are you one of them

A QRS complex that is isoelectric in Lead aVF and positive in Lead I gives us an important clue about the heart's electrical axis.

πŸ“Š Can you determine the approximate cardiac axis?

πŸ”Ή A) 0Β°
πŸ”Ή B) +90Β°
πŸ”Ή C) -90Β°
πŸ”Ή D) +180Β°

πŸ’‘ Drop your answer in the comments and explain your reasoning if you can!

πŸ‘¨β€βš•οΈ Whether you're a medical student, cardiac technician, nurse, or ECG enthusiast, this is a great way to sharpen your axis interpretation skills.

βœ… Answer and explanation will be revealed soon.

🚨 Most techs know the names of cardiac biomarkers.

Very few know the pearls that prevent mistakes.

Can you explain:
βœ… Why a positive troponin doesn't always mean MI?
βœ… When CK-MB is still useful in 2026?
βœ… Which BNP cutoffs actually matter?
βœ… Why D-dimer can be misleading?
βœ… The one mistake people make with myoglobin?

The answers are hidden in today's subscriber-only chart πŸ‘€

Swipe through the visible section and see how many you already know.

V1 to V6 β€” the 6 leads that show us the heart’s story from right to left πŸ«€

Saving this one for all my med friends, students, and anyone who’s ever stared at an ECG wondering _β€œwhere exactly are they looking?”_

This breaks down chest lead placement, what each one sees, normal R wave progression, and how they help spot an MI or hypertrophy.

Remember: V1 = Right, V6 = Left. Small R β†’ Big R across the chest.

Tag a friend who’s learning ECGs or drop a 🧠 if this made it click for you.

Know the leads. Own the ECG.

Decoding ECG Basics: aVR, aVL, aVF πŸ«€πŸ“Š

The augmented limb leads are often skipped, but they’re critical for reading axis, spotting inferior MIs, and getting the full 360Β° view of the heart.

*Quick memory aid: "Right - Left - Feet"*
aVR β†’ Right shoulder β†’ Usually negative (-150Β°)
aVL β†’ Left shoulder β†’ Small positive (-30Β°)
aVF β†’ Feet β†’ Positive (+90Β°)

Together with I, II, III they complete the frontal plane. Master the leads, own the ECG.

*Clinical pearl:* ST elevation in II, III, aVF with ST depression in aVR = Think inferior wall MI

Save this for your next ECG interpretation. Tag someone who needs this!

CARDIAC MARKERS MCQs πŸ«€πŸ“‹

Can you answer all 5 correctly? πŸ€”

Troponin vs CK-MB vs BNP vs Myoglobin β€” if you’re a med student, nursing student, or prepping for NEET PG, this one’s for your saves.

Drop your score below πŸ‘‡ 5/5 or 4/5?

πŸ“Œ Key Takeaway: Rising Troponin + CK-MB = Acute MI. Serial testing is crucial.
