নেতাজি নগর কলেজের রাষ্ট্রবিজ্ঞান বিভাগ, আইকিউএসি-এর সহযোগিতায়,২৬ মে, ২০২৬ শিক্ষার্থীদের সৃজনশীল ও বিশ্লেষণধর্মী চিন্তাশক্তির বিকাশের জন্য একটি প্রবন্ধ রচনা প্রতিযোগিতা আয়োজন করে । প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণ করে ষষ্ঠ সেমিস্টারের শিক্ষার্থীরা ।
'ভারতের বৈদেশিক নীতি ও তার দ্বিপাক্ষিক সম্পর্ক' বিষয়কে কেন্দ্র করে রচিত প্রবন্ধগুলির মাধ্যমে ছাত্র ছাত্রীরা সমসাময়িক রাজনৈতিক বিষয় নিয়ে নিজেদের ভাবনা ও বিশ্লেষণ তুলে ধরার সুযোগ পায়। এই উদ্যোগের মূল উদ্দেশ্য ছিল নিয়মিত লেখার অভ্যাস গড়ে তোলা, যুক্তিনির্ভর চিন্তার বিকাশ ঘটানো এবং একাডেমিক লেখালেখির দক্ষতা বৃদ্ধি করা। ১১ জুন, ২০২৬ তারিখ প্রতিযোগিতায় বিজয়ী ও অংশগ্রহণকারী ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের হাতে শংসাপত্র তুলে দেওয়া হয়।
এই উদ্যোগ, ছাত্র ছাত্রীদের ধীরে ধীরে দক্ষ লেখক হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে সাহায্য করবে। কারণ, প্রচেষ্টাই সাফল্যের চাবিকাঠি ।

'Efforts equal Essays'
The Department of Political Science along with the IQAC's drive to explore bubbling energies got visualized in an Essay Competition held on 26.05.2026 where Sem-6 students had been the participants. This was followed by a Certificate Distribution ceremony of the same on 11.06.2026. The essays centered around the topic 'India's Foreign Policy and its Bilateral Relations' which sought to imbibe within student intellects the need to practice and subsequently learn the art of writing through constant practice. This venture has been a significant one in terms of a transition on part of our students, from an amateur to the one in process of adapting skills, useful enough to help them in becoming writing professionals in the days to come.

বিশ্ব পরিবেশ দিবস ও বিশ্ব সাইকেল দিবস উদ্‌যাপন

নেতাজি নগর কলেজের গ্রিন সেল, IQAC, NSS ইউনিট এবং ভূগোল বিভাগের যৌথ উদ্যোগে ৫ জুন ২০২৬, শুক্রবার কলেজ প্রাঙ্গণে বিশ্ব পরিবেশ দিবস ও বিশ্ব সাইকেল দিবস উদ্‌যাপন করা হয়।
পরিবেশ-সচেতন জীবনযাপনকে উৎসাহিত করতে সাইকেলে করে কলেজে আসা ছাত্রছাত্রী, শিক্ষক-শিক্ষিকা ও অ-শিক্ষক কর্মীদের হাতে জেড (Jade) গাছের চারা তুলে দেওয়া হয় সম্মানসূচক উপহার হিসেবে। অনুষ্ঠানে পরিবেশ রক্ষা, বৃক্ষরোপণ এবং স্ববহনক্ষম জীবনধারার গুরুত্ব নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়। বক্তারা দৈনন্দিন জীবনে ছোট ছোট পরিবেশ-সচেতনতা মূলক অভ্যাস গড়ে তোলার বার্তা দেন ।
সবুজের আবহে ভরপুর এই উদ্‌যাপন আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয়—একটি সবুজ, সুন্দর ও প্রকৃতি-সহায়ক ভবিষ্যৎ গড়ার দায়িত্ব আমাদের সবার।
আজকের একটা ছোট উদ্যোগই আগামী দিনের পরিবর্তনের পথ দেখায়। বিন্দু বিন্দু জলে যেমন সিন্ধুর সৃষ্টি হয়, তেমনি ক্ষুদ্র ক্ষুদ্র উদ্যোগেই বৃহৎ পরিবর্তন সম্ভব হয় ।

The Green Cell of Netaji Nagar College , in collaboration with the IQAC, the NSS unit and the department of Geography , celebrated the World Bicycle Day and the World Environment Day, held respectively on June 3rd and June 5th, on 5.6.2026 ,Friday at the college premises to encourage green drive and sustainable living. Students and staff commuting to college by bicycle were given jade saplings as a token of reward for their eco-friendly approach. The event upheld the necessity and the spirit of living and going green to combat environmental threats and promote sustainable development. Teachers shared their individual thoughts on the importance of planting trees and cultivating sustainable practices in daily life to inculcate in the students a sensitive and responsible attitude towards the environment. The importance of imparting environmental education to the students in a practical and multidisciplinary teaching-learning mode has also been emphasized. Streaked by the myriad shades of green, the Green Day celebration at college resonated with the ideas of nature , youth, renewal and growth and ended on a hopeful note for a promising tomorrow.
