AI in Classrooms – Transforming the Learning Landscape
Birla Bharati organized a workshop on “AI in Classrooms – Transforming the Learning Landscape” for its faculty members on June 20, 2026. The workshop commenced with our Principal ma'am warmly welcoming and felicitating Ms. Sonia Mahajan, an expert in educational technology as the resource person for the session.
Ms. Mahajan introduced teachers to the role of Artificial Intelligence in education and explained how AI can support educators in lesson planning, worksheet creation, assessment, and personalized learning. She demonstrated various AI-powered tools that help make teaching more efficient and classrooms more interactive.
The workshop also highlighted the importance of the ethical and responsible use of AI, focusing on issues such as plagiarism, academic integrity, and data privacy. Teachers actively participated in hands-on activities and explored practical applications of AI in their respective subjects.
The session concluded with teachers exploring different AI tools and participating in a challenge task designed to test their understanding and application of AI in education. The activity was both engaging and informative, encouraging collaboration and creativity among the participants.
Our Principal ma'am expressed gratitude to Ms. Sonia Mahajan for the enriching session. The workshop proved to be a valuable learning experience and reinforced Birla Bharati’s commitment to innovative and technology-driven education.

🏅 Celebrating Excellence and Achievement!
On 16th June 2026, the Class X and XII toppers of Birla Bharati were felicitated at the prestigious Times Edu Shine 2026 held at Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium. The event celebrated the outstanding academic achievements of meritorious students and recognized their hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
The young achievers were awarded certificates and medals in the presence of distinguished guests, educators and fellow students. The ceremony not only acknowledged their remarkable accomplishments but also inspired others to pursue excellence with determination and commitment.
Birla Bharati extends its heartfelt congratulations to all the awardees for their remarkable success and wishes them continued achievements in their future endeavours.
Pre-primary students at Birla Bharati celebrated International Yoga Day with great joy and enthusiasm on 19th June. The programme began with an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of yoga and this year's theme, "Yoga for Healty Ageing" This was followed by an engaging PowerPoint presentation on the many benefits of practising yoga for a healthy body and mind.
The event became even more special with the energetic participation of our Principal Ma'am and Vice Principal Ma'am, who joined the children in the yoga session. The young learners performed various asanas, including Tadasana, Veerbhadrasana, Bhujangasana, Cat-Cow Pose and Setu Bandhasana. They also practised deep breathing exercises, Bhramari Pranayama and observed one minute of silent meditation with soothing music. The celebration concluded with a fun-filled session of laughter therapy, spreading happiness all around. Through this enriching experience, the children learnt that yoga is an enjoyable way to build flexibility, improve concentration and promote good health and well-being.

"A Journey Towards Health, Harmony and Mindfulness"
To commemorate World Yoga Day, the students of Class 4 conducted a special assembly highlighting the importance of yoga in our daily lives. Through thoughtful presentations, they shared its significance and numerous physical, mental and emotional benefits. The students also demonstrated simple yoga asanas, encouraging everyone to participate and creating an atmosphere of wellness and mindfulness. The assembly emphasized how yoga promotes fitness, concentration, inner peace and overall well-being. The Principal and Vice Principal addressed the gathering, sharing valuable insights into yoga's rich cultural and mythological roots and its global recognition through the United Nations. The programme concluded with a pledge by the students to practise yoga for at least five minutes daily and inspire their family and friends to adopt this healthy way of life.

D.E.A.R. Time: When Readers Gather, Stories Come Alive!
The students of Classes 3 to 5 embarked on an enriching literary journey through the "Drop Everything and Read" (D.E.A.R.) initiative on 19.06.26, observed globally as World Reading Day and celebrated regionally as Vayanadinam. With great enthusiasm, they immersed themselves in a world of fascinating stories, adventures, and knowledge.Bringing books of their own choice, the students transformed their classrooms into vibrant reading spaces. After a period of silent reading, they eagerly shared key highlights from their books with their classmates, encouraging curiosity and meaningful discussions.
From classic tales to exciting science mysteries, each book sparked imagination and broadened young minds. Children also enjoyed a story-reading session and explored a variety of storybooks. They also created theme-based bookmarks inspired by the stories they read. These activities fostered a love for reading while enhancing communication, creativity and collaboration skills. The D.E.A.R. initiative truly showcased how every book opens the door to learning, discovery, and endless possibilities.

Our Student Shines at IBSA Photography Competition!
We are delighted to share that Kritika Saha Pramanick of Class 10 has achieved a remarkable feat at the IBSA All-India World Environment Day 2026 Photography Competition.
The competition, themed "Nature, Biodiversity and Habitat," attracted over 250 participants in the Under-18 category from across the country. Kritika submitted a photograph captured by her at Lake Naivasha, Kenya, and was selected among the Top 10 finalists by the jury.
As a finalist, her photograph was exhibited at the Kolkata Centre for Creativity (KCC), where she was invited to attend the inauguration and felicitation ceremony. The event was graced by the members of the jury, including noted photographer Ashwika Kapur, who remarked that Kritika’s photograph was “an easy choice” for the finalists’ list.
Kritika thoroughly enjoyed the experience and felt honoured to be part of such a prestigious event that celebrated creativity, environmental awareness, and young talent.
