Excursion to Shantiniketan

Our school organized an exciting excursion to Shantiniketan, a place that reflects the rich cultural heritage of Bengal. The trip was both enjoyable and educational. We visited the famous Sonajhuri Haat, explored the Kankalitala Temple, and took part in a meaningful tree plantation program. In the evening, we enjoyed a vibrant tribal dance followed by a warm bonfire.

A special highlight of the trip was the celebration of the 80th year of Abhinav Bharati High School with cake cutting, dance, and music performances. We also visited the Dokra Art Village to observe traditional metal art and the Visva-Bharati Museum, which deepened our understanding of Rabindranath Tagore’s immense contributions to education and culture.

Our stay at a four-star hotel with excellent facilities, including a playground and swimming pool, made the experience even more memorable. The excursion to Shantiniketan was truly a perfect blend of learning, fun, and togetherness.

On 15th August 2025, Abhinav Bharati High School proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our nation with great zeal and patriotic fervour. The program began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem that echoed the spirit of unity and pride.

Students showcased their love for the nation through patriotic songs, dances, skits, and speeches, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the responsibilities we hold as citizens of a free India.

The highlight of the day was the cultural performances, where students beautifully portrayed India’s rich heritage and diversity. The event concluded with inspiring words from our Principal, who encouraged students to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and integrity.

The entire school campus was filled with the colours of patriotism, joy, and pride as we celebrated the essence of being an Indian.

Yoga Day Celebration at Abhinav Bharati High School | 21st June 2025
On this International Yoga Day, Abhinav Bharati High School came alive with positive energy, calm minds, and a spirit of unity!
Students, teachers, and staff gathered on the morning of 21st June 2025 to celebrate the ancient practice of yoga — a gift of India to the world. Guided by Physical Education teachers, participants performed various asanas and breathing exercises, embracing the theme of "Yoga for One Earth, One Health."
The event aimed not only to promote physical health but also to foster mindfulness, balance, and inner peace among our school community. From Surya Namaskar to guided meditation, every moment reflected our commitment to a healthier and more centered lifestyle.
