APRIL 23 - WORLD BOOK DAY

World Book Day, also known as World Book and Copyright Day, or International Day of the Book, is an annual event organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to promote reading, publishing, and copyright.

The first World Book Day was celebrated on 23 April in 1995, and continues to be recognized on that day.

National Model School proudly hosted its Inter-House English Rhymes with action Competition for pre primary section vibrant ode to expression, confidence, and the magic of words.

Each voice carried a story, each verse a spark, making the judges’ task delightfully difficult. Applause to every participant for their passion and dedication in every language.

National Model School proudly organised Poetry Recitation Competition for grades I to V—a vibrant ode to expression, confidence, and the magic of words. This year’s competition was uniquely structured across three rounds—Bengali, Hindi, and English—celebrating linguistic diversity and the power of poetry in multiple languages.
